  1. Ah, it must be a regional thing, apologies. Funny how that works, I can access some of the Sky Youtube stuff from here but not all. Was hoping this would work.
  2. So the oil money has made it's way across the pond and to NBC now, a piece designed for the American football consumer who may hardly have heard of Newcastle in the last 15 years, but a nice watch nonetheless. Probably mentioned it here before but the American coverage has been a surprising breath of fresh air compared to what you usually get elsewhere (even in Asia it's mostly a ManU/Liverpool arse licking extravaganza).
  3. Aye Mudryk and so many others. I don't get the fuss over Enzo either. I mean he's a tidy player and all but what are they supposed to be paying for him, 120M? Ludicrous. Maybe it's a case of a lot of them being new to a team in free fall with no thought or structure to it but the players mostly seem to have half arsed the season away. Fully expect Mudryk and Enzo to score on Sunday now btw.
  4. I'd argue Willock over Longstaff as he overall more to his game and has been excellent this season. Fact Gallagher got selected over him tell you all you need to know about Southgate. Zero merit, creativity or cojones. A shame for England as with a decent manager this squad could have a real go, with him you'd need a massive strock of luck or the other teams to implode.
  5. And you cant draw teams from the same league right? Remember there beign something like that. So Barcelona, Bayern, Milan please. Time to rattle some European cages and go down in a flame of glory
  6. I'm sure Eales/Ashworth are working on those shiny new sponsorships now that we have the CL secured
  7. I think we another forward too with the extra games next season and Wilson's fitness record. A promising understudy to him, maybe a more physical type to complement Isak and give us something different up front. I'm sure we'll keep BDB Murphy, Almiron, Longstaff, there will be enough games to get them playing a role next season and keep that squad spirit going. But aye I agree with you on the rest, hope we can find a take for the deadwood that hasn't featured this season.
  8. City, Arsenal, Chelsea and us for CL spots next season, that would do me. Anyone over Liverpool and ManU really. The media bias is sickening but you could live with it if they didn't have hypocritical managers with heads up their own arses. I expect ManU to compete and likely finish 3/4th again next season. Chelsea might need more time to get their act together if they don't completely implode under Boehly that is. Liverpool have a much trickier job than ManUtd. As has been said they need an overhaul. If you see the top 4 over the last few season hardly anyone other than City has held down a regular spot. Tell you how tough the league is at the top now. Howe is going to have to pull off another masterclass to keep us in it next year. But considering the improved spending power and way in which the club has been managed in the last 18 months, we have as much a chance as anybody to make CL places again next season.
  9. Wait so the GIFs are down today? Of all the days to not be able to post sausages? Scandalous
  10. Unbelievable season, hasn't quite sunk in yet, Champions League next season I was 12 years old and only started getting into nufc and football the last time we played in it. And we got knocked out by Partizan iirc
  11. Aye. Pope just asked about it and says with a smile "its always nice to be involved". Nice was it gotta love the man though bailed us out multiple times over the season
  12. With the goal difference, an Everton draw and a win for them works too I think. I agree it's very risky though, think he believed that he had no chance of coming up here and trying to win.
  13. I'd take the 0-0 right now. Eye on the prize. Just need to keep the focus at the back and make sure nothing stupid happens
