We are shite again aren't we
-
Really should have enough for these today. Decent bench too but none of them are in any kind of form. Last week should have ensured there's no complacency tonight. A win please and back into the CL race.

Cheers lads! 🙂

Oh aye, poor fella has no idea about the kind of pain he's in for

6 years after we lost our infant girl inexplicably to SIDS, the missus and I welcomed a baby boy today. Absolutely elated and terrified in equal measure

Wouldn't swap Howe for anyone right now. Rayvin hit the nail on the head, he's a top coach and he gets the club and the city. Also we haven't seen his ceiling yet. Aye obviously Pep has the tons of success but he's never taken a relegation threatened club to the CL and cup finals. And this story may yet have a way to go. I'm with those saying you can't really compare Keegan and Howe. Different eras with tons that has changed. Considering the impact Keegan had and how he pulled back the club from the brink you could still say he's still the more important manager. Howe has been incredible and as I said I wouldn't have anyone else but you could argue if we hadn't gotten him with our resources now we eventually still would have found a way to get where we are right now. If he wins a trophy though... That's everything. Everything missing from Nufc and something that could herald the start of a new era. That would make him the most important figure here in the last few decades.

Their accountants might of the same standard as Toontastic's.
-
Yeah those the club can't be blamed for, I was thinking more about the sudden Staveley departure and the PSR sales plus the touting of Gordon. While all that might have been necessary/inevitable it felt very rushed and out of the blue.

I don't think Barca in their current financial situation will be buying 100M players anytime soon.
-
Aye it does feel a little like that. The chaos in the summer showed we're not as well run as we thought and a lot of the decision making does seem to be very slow.

Speaking of excellent stadiums, I've never been in a European stadium so speaking completely from a TV viewers perspective, but stadiums like the Etihad and Emirates are really meh to me. I dunno if its mostly got to do with the general lack of atmosphere from their fans but surely some has got to do with how the pitch seems far away from the fans, how they put the away fans right in front of goals etc. There's something really generic and artifical about them too. The big Spanish and German stadiums feel so much better to look at, again from a TV screen at least. Spurs' is just slightly better imo and West Ham's absolutely and utterly shite but they probably don't care getting it for free. If we do move from SJP I really hope they go for something unique that can retain the atmosphere and not these generic olympic type stadiums that seemed to have popped up everywhere.

Don't remember anyone being this nice to me when I was a fiery teenager here with passionate opinions. Except Parky perhaps You're all growing old and soft is what I'm saying and at risk of losing the old Toontastic spirit.

Your annual obligatory it's fucking freezing thread

Well considering freaking Dallas has had highs below freezing and lows of -9 past couple of weeks I'd say you're pretty cozy there. -
I've no idea. I suppose Mitchell might though. If there an offer now take it before we're stuck in the summer again.

It's absolutely clear Trips and Miggy need to be moved on this month be because they're adding absolutely feck all to the side when they come off the bench.

I don't buy the tiredness excuse. Yes it's two games in three days but they're the ones with the injury crisis and they're the ones that have travelled all over this week. A bad result was due honestly and they deserved it. But it's the manner of the defeat that's galling. There was not one good thing about that performance, not one player that turned up except maybe Tonali. When you're in such great form players are oozing confidence, to suddenly go from that to this is a bit worrying because that's the kind of thing you cut out to progress to the next level. Everyone played shite but Bruno, Gordon, Hall and Burn were so half measured at times you honestly wondered what they're thinking. Bournemouth made it clear from the start they meant business and we just didn't wake up. Need to dust this off now and get some of the confidence back before the league cup game.
-
This has been one of the worst performances I can remember.
-
Haven't created a single chance of note so far, dire stuff
-
Whats Tonali doing there as well? Lucky it went out. The decision making all around man, lost for words. We're losing this and we absolutely deserve too
-
Absolute shocking stuff from these lads
-
WTF>?????????
-
Gordon and Hall are having shockers get them both off
-
Hows that not a yellow? Shambles of blind ref this arsehole
-
They have a ton of more injuries than us.
