Try Travelzoo, usually some decent offers kicking about on there.
  2. servicaixa.com for Spanish football tickets, can just pick them up at the stadium with your bank card like you do with train tickets. I did it for when I went to Atletico Madrid in April. Couldn't recommend http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-..._Catalonia.html high enough if you're going with your missus. Lovely hotel in the Eixample area and right on the metro. I'd just hostel it if you're going with the lads there are plenty of decent ones. Go to Cervercia Catalana on Mallorca for fancy tapas and beer, go to La Rueda (Uruguayan steakhouse) or Restaurante Parrilla Alfonsina (Argentinian steakhouse) for beef. Gan to the beach and deeks the tits too, always plenty out if its sunny.

You can get that Blue Moon on tap in the Brandling Arms on Gosforth High Street, complete with orange slice. Nice tipple.

    The FA

If Clattenburg saw it (IMO he didn't) and didn't give a red why is he not getting suspended for being utterly shite? Mother Riley talking shite n all - http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...call-right.html

  6. Another vote for Doncaster. The 'town centre' if you can call it that is grim and the locals are worse.

Brisbane was shit I thought, just an identikit city plus most of it will be underwater now. If you like beaches and loud tacky shit go to Surfer's Paradise, its a more upmarket/better version of Whitley Bay. Byron Bay is nice n all if you can fit that in somehow. Do a wine tour from Adelaide not Sydney. Barossa Valley & McLaren Vale are more or less on the doorstep. Loads of different tours to go on. Not much going on in Adelaide but seemed a nice enough place to spend a night or two. Have yourself some Coopers. Blue mountains are worth a day or two. Its about 2hrs on the train from Sydney to the town where they are. Sydney is a nice place, Kings X is where the decent nightlife is (Soho style) and obviously Bondi and Manley are the best beaches. Aquarium is pretty good too. Melbourne is more relaxed than Sydney but there isn't loads of traditional tourist stuff to do but its a nice city. Brunswick St, Fitzroy is the best place for drink/food I thought. Try and get to the MCG for an AFL game. We stopped in Mt. Gambier and Port Campbell (if you stop here go to the pizza place - absolutely lush) en route from Adelaide to Melbourne. Just outside Adelaide is a town called Hahndorf, nice little German-esque town - decent bait and beer available. The bit before the Great Ocean Road is nothing to write home about but the road itself and the scenery off it are worth it. Didn't go to your other places so can't help there.
  9. Absolute genious some of these.

  11. Couple of photos from Boca and River...
  12. It's actually an racial slur toward Boca fans by calling it the chocolate box. I'd imagine you can rock up and buy tickets from touts outside the stadium for the game v River although they'll be a lot more than face value (obviously) aside from that the Tangol agency will offer tickets for a massively overexpensive rate for the games. Only seats are on the side. When I went last year I was stood in the middle tier behind the goal (£5) at the far end of the picture above. All sorts of stuff being thrown lobbed from above away fans. The stand with its back to the camera is where the hardcore (La 12) go. Class ground atmosphere though. Went to watch River n all which was also brilliant. If you do go and you were lucky with the fixture list you'd probably be able to take in 3 or 4 games with the staggered kick off times of the Argentine League (all games are on TV) and that loads of clubs are within a short taxi ride away from each other in BsAs.
  13. Good luck knocking that door down as its made from reinforced steel.
  14. Announcement of Pardew in the next 24 hours http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/9267960.stm
  15. I'm straight down the bookies if he is announced.
  16. What an absolute fucking disgrace. Classless as always.
  17. Sigurdsson has looked good the games I've seen him but he ain't a central midfielder by any stretch of the imagination. Be decent back up for Routledge/Jonas providing we don't improve on them.
  18. I stopped around Louise metro stop last May and it seemed canny enough round there from what i can remember. Brussels itself came across as a bit of a souless place tbh, much preferred Bruges and Antwerp in Belgium. All round the Gare du Midi is where the Arabic folk knock about - loads of coffee bars round there. Theres a bar (i forget its name) that serves 500+ beers, it'll be on tripadvisor or something as its quite well known. We couldn't find it like and most bars have a fair menu of beers to plunder through. Flemish Belgians are canny enough, French Belgians not so much.
  19. As if people from Peterlee have been beyond County Durham. Tree fits in with its surroundings tbh
  20. Too lightweight to play in the Premier League if they get promoted. One on the left looks like she had plenty upfront.
