  1. It's the most important role at the club and McClaren just doesn't look up to it. Our last two appointed managers (I'm not including Mike Bassett tribute act, John Carver, as that is too obvious) had both been recently sacked by lower league teams before they came to us.
  2. Aye, but was the third goal the worts defending you've seen in years? It's fucking comical like, thank fuck for gallows humour!
  3. McClaren has to take his share of the blame for this too. He has picked the same team and set us up to play the same way after the debacle against Bournemouth. Leicester are getting what Bournemouth deserved against us.
  4. That's a bold claim, certainly given the way we defended last season! It was certainly fucking piss poor though, I'll give you that.
  5. This and the Bournemouth game have been embarrassing. There don't seem to be any tactics and, our goal against Bournemouth aside, I can't remember any decent passages of play. Whoever mentioned our centre midfield is spot on, they should be dictating the play but we're getting the run around. I think I'd rather see Sissoko driving on from in there. Even if he is as ineffective as he usually is, he wouldn't be as bad as any of the others in there. Mitrovic needs to stay off the pies too, he looks off the pace.
  6. Congrats Stevie, that's great news, here's to many many healthy years ahead. Let's hope you're even happier come 2pm on Sunday!
  7. And cunts too (or are they covered by Daily Mail readers?).
  8. They're an absolutely disgusting regime and our government's pandering to them is sickening. Be-heading and crucifixion man, what fucking century are we in?
  9. Graham Carr has to take some of the blame. Since he hit the jackpot with Cabaye and Tiote (when he wasn't dogshit) he has brought brought in some utter shite.
  10. Aye, I don't mind them, I think they add quite a bit rather than trotting out the same old shit that most pundits do. Carragher was one of the few calling out Ashley last season too. They are infinitely better than the shower of wankers on BT Sport.
  11. West Ham won't have an easier game this season. Watch the lack of movement when we do have the ball, it's woeful, we're so static.
  12. It's fucking gash this like. Can't defend, incapable of incisive passing, can't deliver a set piece and playing with a lone striker who has the touch of a discotheque drunk. We're so fucking pedestrian too, we must be the easiest team to defend against in the entire league. I feel sorry for Cisse as he is a really good instinctive finisher but he is not the type of player to lead the line alone.
  13. The comments after the article too. It's the "I'm not racist but........" brigade. Can we not just swap one Daily Mail reader for each refugee we accept and then that will sort out the alleged overcrowding and make the country a far better place.
  14. The way footballers behave is embarrassing these days. I hope they watch match of the day and cringe at themselves. Something tells me they don't though.
  15. Will be interesting to see if he can top Cisse's total of being suspended for 10 games (or whatever it was) last season. He's certainly off to a promising start.
  16. I'm not defending him, he's a cretin (as his 2 yellows prior to this game show) and he shouldn't have given the ref the decision to make. The ref made the wrong decision though, it should have been a yellow.
  17. Not a red card that. So many games being ruined by refs showing red cards for things like that. He'll get a three match ban for that too which is a fucking joke. Football these days just gets shitter and shitter.
  18. Wasn't Obertan on the left and Sissoko on the right? If so, how can you blame Obertan for not protecting Janmaat? I'm certainly no fan of Obertan but he wasn't to blame for today.
  19. It's been pretty shambolic this, it it doesn't look like much has changed since last season. Utter panic when defending and offering fuck all going forward. Along with buying a defender, who will actually attack the ball, it would be nice to buy someone who can take a set piece.
  20. Agreed, it's dreadful, the characters are all utter arseholes and the premise is ridiculous. I struggled through the first series and I'm still annoyed with myself that I perservered that long.
  21. Fair play to Palace. They are buying a player in his prime and a player who, when he last played in England, was one of the best players in the league. I think his prime motivation is playing time ahead of Euro 2016 in France. It just doesn't seem as though he has had many options so if Palace are going to pay him £100k then why not. I'll bet there are worse players than him on £100k. I would have loved us to buy him for £13mm and pay him £100k but our business model is all about making money through developing young p'ayers for a profit rather than, heaven forbid, buying proven talent who are going to improve us immediately. Still can't understand him going to play for that utter prick Pardew mind.
