I don't know bud, I think even Mr Wyn would be upset by the name change
-
This calls for an official petition and involvement of local MPs!

Thanks bud, good report on your site too. You'll always be welcome at St James!

Ashley's the rich schoolyard bully, play the game his way and let him win or he'll take the ball away and play with his paid for friend, Llambias.

Every single one built since 1988 How many bricks at SJP were laid before then? What's that got to do with anything? It's the same land, the same place, the same history, the same Gallowgate burial land where hundreds of gypsies were hanged. Some people are clutching at straws here. Sadly, some people already fall in to Ashley's dream of plastic fans reinvented in his own desired image - we'll be getting called Mike Ashley FC next. *Wasn't referring to you there Chez, I might not agree with you but was in meaning more to Saltwater.

He's looking down on the fans: Gemmil's spot on with what he said, putting the fans in their place just when things are looking at being a bit better. I'll still call it St James and I'm sure most other Toon fans will until the next generation of supporters come along, sad to think that something can be changed so easily by someone obviously out to be a spiteful cunt just because it suits him. Regardless of financial gain or the club being 'better off' it's getting to the stage where nothing about it is sacred and the heart is being ripped from it, I'd rather be struggling at the bottom of the table with all our heritage and history than nearer the top and be a generic, non-descript football 'club' without any identity. It's like one of these manufactured popstars off X Factor - there's nothing special or individual about them, they're just there and they get a high profile in the business they're in because they're part of a tacky, money making exercise by some chump out to make himself cash.

Would you have taken 7th place right now?

You're assuming that we will break the current run of transfer windows and not sell at least one of our better players in January. Break the team up as they're performing now and we'll drop points like a scouser downs tools. -
Good point, GO DEADMAN! Gay rights activist!!! We're with you sister

I disagree 100% with censorship, if you don't want to watch/play something then that's your choice, nobody forces you to. Personally I'd be quite happy to have hardcore porn on tv too as long as there's a parental control

Happy Birthday! All the best folk are Scorpios... apart from that guy out of Dirty Harry.

Which game was it where the team playing against Stoke moved the hoardings up really close to the pitch so Stoke's long throw specialists couldn't get a run up? I'm sure I remember Delap getting a shitty on about it.

3rd in the league on November 1st - who'd have thunk it?

Real shame, poor old Jim. RIP

I wonder what the aftermath was.

When you were born, you were the: 4,172,652,545th person alive on Earth - 78,597,073,406 thperson to have lived since history began. Damn the population boom of recent years, we needs a cullin'!

19yr old Peter Toogood, scored a pen but bit iffy elsewhere apparently - great facepaint though
-
Didn't John Dahl Tomasson do alright in his pre-season debut? Shame he never really got much of a chance here afterwards though, was a cracking player on the continent. ... oh, Barney beat me to it.
