  1. So who are they blaming? The fat man and anal? Just the general media I should think, they all seem keen to have a pop.
  2. ... okay, FA Cup weekend and a break for the Toon, what can the London media report on now? I know, let's make up a story about Newcastle, they're always good for a laugh
  3. From SSN: I don't know about anyone else but I'm bored of his weekly whining, get over it fat boy, you failed. (Admittedly I don't agree with the reporter saying the fans never took to him though, initially I thought he was a good enough appointment and I'm sure there were others too).
  4. I liked this guy's response: Greaves... "It's a funny old game" - knob
  5. Must have been too much weight for the tendon to cope with, it finally gave up...
  6. From the Sunderland Echo Fat mackem loving bastard

Like anyone really expected a miracle turnaround?! What the hell are they on? If they didn't know we'd be treading water til the end of the season (when Kev can get stuck in to bringing in his own players and rejigging the team to his ideas) then they must be fucking tapped in the heed.
  8. Some of us go to games. Did you walk back? I rode your mother, she's a fucking star. Giddy up!
  9. Some fan you are taking enjoyment out of our doing badly I'm not even a fan any more,The clubs to much of a joke to even bother wanting to go see them play."King" Kev's return was the last straw for me. So why go to the effort of posting on a Newcastle fan's forum then if you're not bothered anymore?

And they'd surely think we were cuckoo if we thought everything was hunky fucking dory wouldn't they stop fooling yourself man I'm not saying everything's fine, christ we need to sort a lot of issues out but all this negative crap really is starting to boil my piss - I'm really starting to think (sadly) that fans/press from outside Newcastle might be right in that no other fanbase is more fickle, demanding or negative than Newcastle United fans. I just hope I'm really not the only one who's against this trend because someone needs to get behind the team/manager or you might as well forget the club coming out of this depression.

    relegation

No way will we get relegated, no chance. I doubt we'll even get drawn in to a serious fight at the bottom.

Jeez guys come on, stop being so bloody pesamistic, no wonder the world and their dog think that we as fans are a joke. Yeah, we've had a rough start under KK but we haven't been as bad as all that - plus today's the first time in 4 games under KK that we've had a decent size squad to pick from AND importantly some of those coming back haven't had chance to train/fit in with the new boss yet. These aren't his players and he doesn't have his full back room team sorted yet - the guys only been back a couple of weeks. This season is over for us, it has been for a while so we have nothing to lose, there's no way on this planet we'll get relegated, we're just having a hard time at the moment due to circumstance and difficult fixtures coming at a time when the team's hard pressed to work as an effective unit. All this doom and gloom nonsense plays right in the hands to any fan/media/muppet from outside the club who like to have a crack at us and it needs to stop - Kevin Keegan is the man to fix our problems, time and patience is needed and all this crap doesn't help anyone. Calm down, chill out and relax until next season when the fun really starts.
  13. Huzzah! It's laughable that some areas of the press see that Pearson leaving has 'rattled Keegans regime' though
  14. "Even more irksome was the wariness with which the British regarded Philip when he first came on the royal scene. A poll taken in 1947 revealed widespread dismay at Philip's alien origins. Never mind that he was, like Elizabeth, a great-great-grandchild of Queen Victoria. To the public he became 'Phil the Greek', an opprobrious nickname which still surfaces from time to time today. It was inaccurate. Philip was born a Prince of Greece, but his ancestry was actually Danish and German. The nickname was none the less wounding for that, though." He line is oringinally from the House of Hannover crossed with the Danes. The Danes had the practice of exporting Royalty and Royal lines to countries where the natives didn't really trust each other to run things. Our Royals are mostly Krauts as well Stevie if you were wondering. Saxe Coburg Goethe till the name changes. Aye but if a Paki is born in England, are they Pakistani or English? They're English of course they are, so Phil remains Greek till the day he dies. Hang on, my brother was born in Singapore but he's English If a dog's born in a stable it doesn't make them a horse. Still, I must admit I've always thought Phil was Greek. Getting back to the main topic, I'm not supporting anyone in particular, I lose interest when my team's not playing. Well to be honest Newcastle were never going to qualify for this one Good point

  16. I wonder if the media will make a huge deal about how amateurish the whole thing has been The last time I looked neither team were based on Tyneside or wore black and white stripes so probably not...
  17. I doubt very much Keegan would have enthused about his original crop of players the last time he managed us - with such a poor start last time round I suspect now is no different. We need players in, they won't be here til summer, until then Keegan has to make do and put a brave face on it. I can't believe 3 games in, 2 of which were against Arsenal without a full first team to pick from, people are having such doubts - it's nonsesne like that which makes me wonder if the press are right and this club's fans really are laughing stock for good reason.
  18. If the ref's got anything to do with it the game'll be a 0-0 draw!
  19. My thoughts exactly, although I think the sun shines out of Big Al's arse he's always going to be second in my eyes to Kev and there's no need for him to spout this 'exclusive' if he really does have the club's best interests at heart. Sad.
  20. We need a target man, not another shortarse runner, Defoe isn't what we'd need.
  21. Look at your list properly. Carrick? Bridge? Garay? Richards? Sissoko? Elmander? Van Der Vaart? Deco? SWP? Berbatov? Modric? Realistic? Of the rest, some chose other clubs over us, others are players people would be horrified if we signed. Exactly, and as well as that, why pay over-the-odds for players just for the sake of it? Panic buying just adds to players we'd probably have to get rid of when Kev decides to get his own players in and to get players like that in you're likely to have to pay silly wgaes too.
