  8. THE SUN NEWCASTLE have sacked boss Glenn Roeder - paving the way for Sam Allardyce to take over. Yesterday's 2-0 home defeat against Blackburn - as mediocre as most of the Magpies' season - proved the final straw for the Toon board. And now ex-Bolton chief Allardyce is in pole position for the type of big job he has craved. Roeder's exit after 14 months in charge is hardly a surprise. Toon fans booed off the former West Ham manager and his under-achieving players following Rovers' victory. But, after lifting the Magpies to a mid-table finish last term following Graeme Souness' departure, Roeder has seen his squad decimated by injuries this season. Record £16million signing Michael Owen has led the casualty list - only returning two games ago after hurting his knee during the World Cup finals. Roeder has always shrugged off speculation over his future. But now he has paid for Newcastle's high expectations, with a bottom-half finish in the Premiership certain. Allardyce, who stunned Bolton fans by quitting last week, is the obvious successor. And he is thought to have important backers on the Newcastle board.
  9. Any gays here? Is that normal after your first Banana?
  10. Step one you say we need to talk He walks you say sit down it's just a talk He smiles politely back at you You stare politely right on through Some sort of window to your right As he goes left and you stay right Between the lines of fear and blame And you begin to wonder why you came Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend Somewhere along in the bitterness And I would have stayed up with you all night Had I known how to save a life
  11. We've been through this many times but again... i think it was a great decision. He had the main strikers there already and to have an unpredictable, fast-as-fuck player was a great move. But then when the time came when it was now or never to throw the lad in (v Portugal soon after Rooney had seen red) Sven did nothing, and just stood there. The man couldnt even justify his own "controversial" decision, which makes even more of total moron. I hate him That's when i thought it was time to end his England Era,If he bought on Wallcot i thought we could of just nicked it
  12. Always thought he was a good manager would love to see him at the toon,You only need to look at England now to see how good he was
  13. "Was listening to Arctic Monkeys album"
