Maybe im dreaming but... hasnt he had a really bad injury recently? if i remember correctly chelsea were interested but didnt want to risk it incase he wasnt as good as before the injury... so a russian club(moscow perhaps?) that abramovich is linked with were gonna take him and if he develpoed move on to chelsea. as i say i could be thinking of someone else

Yes we've lost alot of players and with the loss of Owen our attack looks weakened. However, our defence is the laughing stock of the league... as it has been before... it needs sorting.

You know i wouldn't be surprised to see Shearer get the job in the summer. FS has put up with Souey this long (compared with what SBR got sacked for) why not just risk this seasons league position some more to prevent a better manager coming in... that way King Al can beat his record, finish his career and land his first managerial job for next season.

He's being one of out worst players this season but i dont think it would be the right time to get rid, especially without a replacement lined up. Would love to see Woodgate back but his injury troubles are always going to be the main downside of a re-sign. We would never recoup the £8mill we paid for him. Panic buy last season when defenders on the market were scarce. We'd be lucky to get £5mil.

Mourinho managed to be successful at Porto and lets say they dont have the finance that Chelsea do. Sure money playsa huge part in Chelsea's success... but can you imagine where they would be with money and Souness as boss... probably where we are now. How about a task to prove how good the man is. We sack Souness and he comes here with a limited transfer budget? Souey goes to Stamford Bridge and destroys one of the best teams in the world.
