1. House in the bar (continuing the Anal bingo theme!)
2. Wishful thinking I'm afraid. He'll continue to use our club as his own personal cash cow. The Halls are at war with him for not considering either of the 2 recent takeover enquiries and his 28% holding will hold up any takeovers. Another worry is his son's ever increasing profile in club matters, as revealed by Roeder when he said Shepherd junior was in Italy making the Martins deal. One of the many questions I intend to ask at the forthcoming AGM but no doubt he'll arrange it to be held in London to hide again especially after this transfer window debacle.
3. I don't know how he looks at himself in the mirror tbh. Both from a visual and professional/moral standpoint. 189933 That is a stomach churning picture!!
4. "I have it on good authority that the club did not bid for Viduka and my sources tell me that Bridge would have signed if Arsenal and Chelsea had brokered the Cole deal in time"
5. Can just imagine the fat twat on the blower to Anal, both pillocks trying to put the club spin on this disgusting treatment of the lad.
6. Taken from Villa Talk, the last sentence is immaterial but IF they are right about Milner then both fatso and the manager have some work to do. "Well it's now looking unlikely that James Milner will be an Aston Villa player by the time the transfer window shuts. SSN earlier reported that Milner had travelled down for talks with club officials with a view to signing him permanently. It now looks like Newcastle got cold feet on the deal or other circumstances effected the deal. Newcastle then decided to recall James back to Newcastle, only for Milner to continue to stay at Villa's training ground for a further 3 hours. It now seems during this time Milner agreed terms and passed a medical during this time, as well as spent an amount of time on the phone to Newcastle officials pleading for them to complete the deal. Milner later left the training ground looking furious and was said to be 'disappointed' with the out come of the situation. O'Neill added that Milner was seen as a key target in the rebuilding of the squad and that it looked increasingly likely no further deals would be done unless Milner's deal was complete. All i can say is thanks a lot Newcastle, you've shown yourselves to be incompetant and i can only personally wish a long hard struggle of a season upon you, especially for the way you've treated Milner and our club Aston Villa during this Saga."
7. 8 in the Physioroom table including our only centre forward with both hamstring and hip (again) problems. http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_pre...njury_table.php
8. Not much of an arguement I know but he easily beat Boumsong last year at SJP to score. This is the type of signing we can only make with a £17 mill overdraft and he would do a good job for us imo.
9. It could and will probably take weeks IF a takeover bid is going to happen. With this due dilligence stuff etc etc, look how long the Oirish takeover of the mackems is taking and they ARE interested in buying blunderland. When an offer for Hall's shares is actually made then an announcement has to be issued, until then nothing further will be in the public domain.
10. He's already done that with Butt, Kluivert and Luque
11. "If you are not from this area, you have never been to live in this area, I would not expect you to believe that. But if you ask anyone who has lived up here or does live up here, THEN THEY WILL UNDERSTAND." Thanks Lion for so many memories, the greatest NUFC player ever.
12. Leazes and Gallowgate £482 Milburn Paddock £583 East Stand and paddock £583 Leazes Level 7 £429 Row F £365 Milburn Level 7 £596 Row F £507 Family Enclosure £350
13. 2 lines from fatty's statement in the half year accounts received today: "We want this positive trend to continue while our search for the best possible Team Manager takes its course" And his last sentence is "At this time our priority is to secure the services of a Team Manager who can build on the strong infrastructure at the Club and put in place a winning strategy to deliver long term success to the Club" Shepherd, you are an absolute idiot who is reducing OUR club to a complete laughing stock. So which candidates have you even considered/interviewed to be the "best possible Team Manager" then? You stupid arsehole.
14. Surely the fat one hasn't "asked" Metro to spin that line perhaps
15. I would not be surprised if my season ticket renewal invites me to take up my seat in the "Shearer East Stand"
16. From my seat, it looked a deliberate knobbling by that Argie twat. Thanks for everything Lion and if it is your last game I'll certainly remember your glee at putting that penalty away.
17. Possibly due to contacts with celtic through the future new Newcastle manager due to be revealed soon??
18. First caller to 3 leg ends tonight was 100% sure that MON will be announced as manager on Friday and would be calling again on Friday to claim he was right. Funny thing was that he was a smoggie!!
19. Might as well put my two pennorth in regarding speculation. Mate who sits near me plays golf regularily with 2 of our players and is very good mates with them. Chatting to him about the managerial situation and asked him if he had heard anything from his "contacts" and his reply was "the Swede" Personally, I bloody well hope not but who knows
20. Eh? Did someone collapse at the ground? I didn't hear about this. 97201 A chap in his mid fifties I would guess, it was about 40 minutes before kick-off. Paramedics came running from all areas and they got him on a stretcher and had to force their way past fans stood by the hoardings watching the lads warm up. Mate who sits behind me said it looked like he'd gone when he came into the ground and saw the medics working on him.
21. Certainly were some distressing happenings yesterday. Seeing Alan Smith's injury was bad enough but it was even worse before kick-off when the paramedics were desperately working on the chap in the East Stand paddock. It didn't look good at all for him and apparently the same happened outside Shearer's bar.
22. Lawrenson's at it now! "Newcastle's luck has changed. The bounce of the ball is now going for them. When your luck turns you suddenly find yourself up against teams who are not playing well. I can see Alan Shearer scoring as the shackles are off now that he has broken Jackie Milburn's scoring record. George Burley is a good manager and if he is allowed to do the job properly he will be very prudent in his buying, bringing good players to the club." So the change at Nufc is nothing to do with getting rid of your mate then, or playing with wingers etc etc? Pillock.
23. Ooops, just had one of those embarrasing moments!! I'll slink off into the corner and put me dunce's hat on!!
24. Taken from the BBC newspaper round up: John Robertson has been tipped to take over as Livingstone boss in the next 24 hours. (Daily Record) Rumoured that Robertson would not fancy being involved with England, going against his Scottish roots etc.
25. A week after his "mate" has gone and Mr O re-appears in today's Ronny Gill. Bet he's gutted he has missed out on putting the boot in but I'm sure he'll make up for it in time!
