But we are that skint that £8 million has been received relating to advance sponsorship for FUTURE years (page 17 of the accounts) and in Jan 2008 MGM Mirage will probably want their £5 mill back after the recent casino refusal (page 50) So don't expect that £30 mill extra from Sky all to be lashed out on players in the summer, there's some cash flow issues to be sorted out!! I presume that IF a proposal is made and it has to be discussed at board level, he could be out numbered and the PLC board will have to accept it and propose it to the rest of the shareholders. I'm guessing that this is who Northcote bought their shares from. Certainly some unusual share dealing going on. Also just found out that several of the directors of Fiske are also directors of Northcote so it could be a manoevure in their books for whatever reason.
