Ha! You're not wrong there.

The 305, 306, 307 and 308 from the Haymarket all go along there as well so there's plenty of buses from the town. You could also get the 1 (and I think the 2 and the 3 as well) which will drop you off on Heaton Road, although it's about a 5-10 minute walk along to the Corner House, where as all the others drop you off pretty much right outside. But it's another option I suppose.

I've heard he was a decent bloke on a personal level and a true fan blah de blah de blah, but my God, he was a bloody awful chairman who almost ruined us. Can't say I feel particularly saddened nor pleased.

I heard it's a knock/dead leg

well yeah I suppose it is. 7-8 songs on it I think, so it's sort of a mini album. Good stuff none the less.

True Faith had a good song to sing at Jenas when we play Spurs to the tune of Yellow submarine: In the town where I was born lived a man in a bowl But he wasn't very good, so we sold him to Martin Jol We all live in a fuckin goldfish bowl a fuckin goldfish bowl a fuckin goldfish bowl We all live in a fuckin goldfish bowl a fuckin goldfish bowl a fuckin goldfish bowl

I agree with that. I can't see that I will get anywhere near that myself.

I got to Northumbria, I'm in second year now, so I haven't noticed it as much this time around, but there was a bit of that 'fake crazy' acting at Freshers week last year. Having said that, most people seemed/seem reletively normal, although encounters with Newcastle Uni students would suggest that they're worse. I've met Student Gwant stereotypes that go there. Mind you, they're Ra's (as they are known as at Northumbria) - a lot of them are posh where as here, most people seem to be pretty normal and there's lots more who are local as well.

39561 My Wifes haidresser (hairdresser frrom Brighton for the slow amongst you) has a particularly entertaining and eye watering anecdote about Robbie and Dermot OLeary in the private room at Rage, a local club. 39582 Haway then. Make our eyes water. 39603 Yes you can't leave it at that, although remember to say allegedly.

I'm just starting my second year now, but I'm already beginning to think about it. Hopefully this year should make things a bit clearer. I'm hoping to know/decide what I'm going to do it on by the summer and start work on it then.

A good result and performance. First half we dominated well. Second half was a little bit nervous and although Man City came out better, I was disappointed that we let them back into the game. Nevertheless, a promising performance and a deserved victory.

Anyone see this in TF today? A footballer had to have six stitches in his penis after it was ripped open in a tackle. Chavdar Yankow, 21, sustained a three-inch gash playing for Hamburg 96 in Germany. His shorts were "soaked with blood" but team doctors managed to patch Yankow up. Amazingly, after the painful incident Yankow returned to the pitch and played on.

My brother bought one last week in New York for the equivalent of around £100, maybe a bit more, but lower than you'll pay here. It looks quite snazzy like.

Not that I should be giving advice on people's love life like, but it strikes me that if he likes her, he should just give it a go anyway. I know what you mean about the u18 thing like, but it's not like she's underage. I know a lad, who started seeing a girl 2 years ago when he was 22 and she was 16. Of course he got a lot of stick, but they're still going out with each other.

A bit of both. My Dad was brought up in Seghill (next to Seaton Deleval) and was the son of a Miner. He left school at 15, did an apprenticeship and worked as a turner on the laiths at Parsons. Then went on to work in the Shipyards at Swan Hunters. After he got finished at Swans, he became a White Van Man. That's pretty much working class. My Mam's side of the family are middle class. After he got out of the Navy, my Grandad was a high-ish civil servant working for the Port Authorities. Big House and garden etc, and my Mam was educated at an independent Grammar school. She's a teacher, which is a fairly middle class/professional job. And I was brought up in Heaton, which is a fairly mixed working/middle class area. I think I have values from both, but I don't feel I'm truely either. I'm in some sort of limbo between the two.

Ooooh, isn't it getting dark early
Tom_NUFC replied to Dr Kenneth Noisewater's topic in General Chat
I like winter. I like it when the nights draw in, and I don't mind the cold. I'm still a bit of a sucker for Christmas as well. The only thing that is annoying about winter is when it snows, and the snow either goes shit and slushy, or it goes really icy, and you have to gingerly make your way over large areas of ice trying not slip over. Apart from that, winter is great. I think I get SAD. I get depressed from time to time in the summer. I don't mind a bit of sun and warmth, but I just find myself feeling down more often during the summer than during winter.
