  1. Apparnetly loads of Dutch fans are going to Germany on their bikes, and plan to sing a Dutch song called "We've got our bicycles back" whilst ringing their bicycle bells. It is in reference to the fact that when the Germans invaded and occupied Holland during WW2, the Germans nicked loads of bikes from the Dutch.
  2. That HAS to have been added. Funny never the less.
  3. 16: The year begins with 20 and ends with 06 and there's nowt in between - sure sign you know.
  4. I want to put together a compilation. Never done one before like, but I thought I'd give it a go. I've tried a few sites, but they're not letting me download the clips, just watch them.
  5. Just on Radio Five now. Shearer has been in London to recieve a HMV Lifetime achievement award and has said that the swelling on his knee is worse than they had thought, and he's not having a scan now until Friday. He is 'not hopeful' of returning for the final three games. Roeder was at the ceremony as well and has just spoken to Five Live and confirmed the above. It's not confirmation that its the end for Shearer, but its not far off.
  6. I don't like beans any more. I used to love them when I was a kid, but I can't stand them now.
  7. Reminds me of this. I forget whether it was originally posted here or over at N-O.

    "Stress"

I used to write songs, although a lot of them thinking back were shite, but there were some I still like and some which were part shite, part good. I was looking over some of them the other day funnily enough, and I still like the line "SHUT UP! You talk shit like a junkie!" There was another one, in an otherwise shite song I wrote. "Tainted triptych, painted sceptic, sainted, tricked it ain't expected." I'm not quite sure what I meant by that, but it rhymed well I thought.
  9. I've tended to find that Evertonians whine and are very easy to wind up, although keep away from football with them and they're otherwise OK. Liverpool fans. It depends. I've found that some of them can be quite arrogant, but there's probably as many who are easy to get on with, and they tend to be harder to wind up. Throw any of the scouse stereotype stuff at them and they take it or respond sarcasticly. Evertonians on the other hand will get wound up by it.

  11. The way he's been playing, he should even be in contention for going to the World Cup, especially for a strong country such as France.
  12. I remember that day well. We were away to Arsenal (lost 1-0). My aunt and uncle who are Tranmere fans were staying with us that weekend as Tranmere were away to Hartlepool. My Mam and Me got the train down to Hartlepool to meet up with them and watch the match. My Uncle went to get a drink at Half time and came back saying something had happened at Hillsborough, but didn't really know what or how serious. We only really knew through listening to the Sports programmes (on Radio 2 in those days) in my Uncle's car on the way back home, and just from some of the things they were saying, it was quite obviously horrific. My Aunt and Uncle were quite concerned because coming from the Wirral (just the other side of the Mersey from Liverpool) there are a lot of Liverpool fans from there, and they had some friends, acquaintances and workmates who were Liverpool fans and at the game. My Uncle was on about all the Liverpool fans they saw on the way up. I remember seeing the report on the news that night and it was terrible. I remember going to Hillsborough when we played Sheff Wed towards the end of the 93/94 season (1-0, Andy Cole's winner in extra time, wearing the green third kit) and I hadn't thought about it at all until we were at the stadium, at the Leppings Lane End. I was sitting in the upper tier looking down, and it felt eerie. I couldn't help but think of those pictures of people in the upper tier pulling people from the terraces below up into the stand. It was an uncomfortable feeling.

  14. can anyone upload it or owt?
  15. I love the fact there's Welsh whining about Wales not being represented. Its because the Welsh were beaten and absorbed into England. It's only been in recent times that Wales has been officially recognised.
  16. I don't care how good a sandwich tastes, no sandwich is worth £85.
