  1. I'm backing FS at the minute. Better the devil you know.
  2. I'm very cautious about this. It might be better, but it might be worse. If a takeover goes ahead, the new lot might invest in us heavily in which case we'll be saying good riddance. If they're asset strippers who aren't arsed and just want a profit, we'll be wishing we stuck with them.
  3. I'd say in general, pensioners are the worst offenders and yet they're the ones who complain about it most.
  4. The first album was better than the last
  5. Robbie Williams Cliff Richard Pete Doherty Graeme Souness Sam Allardyce
  6. Bush Sunday Bloody Sunday
  7. It hasn't even made the news here. That's how much we care.
  8. The one of the cat wearing an SS uniform isn't real - I guess. The first one I think probably is - why wouldn't it be? 144869[/snapback] I don't know, just it looks too good with the Hitler hair and tache
  9. it's just a pity the picture isn't real......it can't be!......can it?
  10. I was just about to slag off whoever got Arctic Monkeys above The Smiths, RATM and Hendrix. Honestly, I think it's a great album, but that might change. 5/6 years ago I was singing the praises of JJ72's debut album, which I thought was brilliant (I still think it's good, but nowhere anywhere near as good as I thought it was 5 years ago).
  11. Definitely Maybe was a great great album. I wasn't arsed in music when I was younger. I used to listen to chart stuff on the readio but wasn't too bothered, but a few friends at school were bang into music, and I started hanging out with them more and listening to stuff they did. One of the things they'd go on about was The Evening Session with Steve Lamacq on Radio 1. I started listening and that's where I first heard Oasis - I think the first thing I heard was Columbia. I was 15 when Definitely Maybe came out, and it was a life changing album for me. It got me into Rock and Roll and Guitars. It blew me away. Through Oasis, I discovered other bands. Definitely Maybe is the SECOND best album of all time. My Top 20 1. The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses 2. Definitely Maybe - Oasis 3. Sandinista - The Clash 4. What's The Story Morning Glory? - Oasis 5. The Joshua Tree - U2 6. Siamese Dream - Smashing Pumpkins 7. Rubber Soul - The Beatles 8. The Queen Is Dead - The Smiths 9. Substance 1987 - New Order 10. Funeral - Arcade Fire 11. Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness - Smashing Pumpkins 12. London Calling - The Clash 13. Unknown Pleasures - Joy Division 14. Revolver - The Beatles 15. Exile on Main Street - Rolling Stones 16. Closer - Joy Division 17. Appetite For Destruction - Guns N Roses 18. Achtung Baby - U2 19. Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not - Arctic Monkeys 20. Technique - New Order
  12. I'll be watching as many games as possible. I always have done.

    Desmonds

Desmonds was quality. I used to love watching it.
  15. Mine was Black and illuminous Green - very early 90s.
  16. Things to do in London. Cram into an overcrowded Tube train full of sweaty, rude, misanthropic Cockneys. Get pestered by people in the street trying to persuade you to go and watch some dodgy sex show in Soho. Pay £4 for a pint. Stand in a tube station and sing an ad-libbed Cockney knees-up Blitz song "You can't bomb us 'itler, you're a facking cant......." Declare your hotel room as the Embassy of the Autonomous Republic of Northumbria. Do the Monopoly pub crawl

    Wills

I've not really got much for anyone to have right now. I haven't given it much thought, but over the last week or so I have. My Grandad died last weekend, and it was the first time that I've experienced a death in my immediate family. So that sort of stuff hits home.
  18. This is more sort of Political. I do a Political Cartoons module charting their development from the 18th century until the present day. The cartoon below appeared in The Guardian a couple of weeks or so ago, about the Clarke/Prescott shenanigans and it has become one of my favourite Political Cartoons.
  19. I've only ever had BNP leaflets through my door for the last European election. The first time, I was in at the time, picked it up, saw it was from then. Caught up with the bloke and said "Excuse me, you dropped this through my door" and handed it him back. The second time, it was by the door as I came in. I went upstairs, had a shit and wiped my arse with it.
  20. Bass player in Oasis. Used to be the Guitarist in Ride and Hurricane #1
  21. I've got a 40gb Zen Touch, and it's fine. The only things that have broken are the Earphones. Hardly a disaster. I like it. Had it over a year now, and it's been fine. And a good bit cheaper than iPods as well.
  22. I'm in the North East Corner, in the middle block, but slightly nearer the East stand. I'm in row Q, so I'm not far from the back. I used to be in what was the upper tier of the Leazes (now the middle tier), but I was kicked out of there for the new seats/family enclosure. I was pissed off at the time, but I really like where I am, and its a really good spot for watching any goings on right the way across the Leazes goal line.
