That's true enough. As far as were concerned, I believe it when its actually happening.

Sort of. The Brits were the first to succesfully settle, but we didn't discover it. The Spanish were convinced that there was a large southern land in the pacific and sent several expeditions out from Lima to search for it. Luis Paez de Torres sighted Australia, possibly Cape York (the large peninsular in NE Australia) but he thought it was just an island and buggered off. Then the Dutch went and landed on the northern coast, but they were attacked by aboriginies, shat their keks and fucked off. Then some more Dutch explored western Australia and set up a colony but died out. Then of course James Cook went looking for it because he hated Middlesbrough so much he decided to get as far away from the place as possible. Then when the first band of settlers went they were pursued by the French under Admiral La Perouse, who hoped to beat them and claim the land for France. When Perouse arrived, he saw the ships and the Union Jack flying, so he fucked off. What a tit! He should have just gone further along the coast. If he had France could have had a fair whack of Australia themselves.

I wish they'd axe the bloody thing here.

There are probably about 200 better beers tbh... I like them. What do you reckon are better?

Yes, but they were working on the bomb and the Amerika-Bomber was on the assumption that they got the bomb. Obviously as things turned out they didn't. Undoubtedly scaring off the Jews hindered the Nazi's nuclear programme as many of the leading German scientists were Jews and had fled to America and Britain throughout the 1930s.

As well as rockets, he designed one of the proposals for the 'Amerika-Bomber' which Hitler planned to use to drop nuclear bombs on New York and Washington.

Nah, that's the Italians. Mussolini and the Fascists were in power in Italy 10 years before the Nazis were in Germany.

As far as Weatherspoons go, I don't mind the Union Rooms at all. I wouldn't put it amongst the best bars, but you can get decent beer cheap and at least there's no shite music.

Cheers petal. I'm just avoiding doing any lifting or patient moving. There's nothing happening here at the moment but that doesn't say much. Really, really hope it's not a frozen shoulder or I'm fucked work-wise. what about one of those heat sack things. I bought wor lad one for his "footballing" injuries. You just whack them in the microwave and dump it on offending part of the anatomy ?? They're good. I twisted my knee a couple of weeks ago and used one of them, it worked wonders.

A good example of what I mean But its not the worst there's ever been The yoda poems are such a crime With clumsy backward phrasings to fit a rhyme They all sound wrong, its just not right Its illiterate sods who just sound shite

When I saw this again, I thought oh no But then I thought, I'll have a go Its not so hard sitting in our homes To beat those awful Chronicle yoda poems

Alone once again, she retired to the bedroom and began releasing the milkshake. They were hoping the neighbors couldn't see them gargling the sausage. He spent every lunch hour at home, unleashing the trouser yak. She checked the coast was clear before cranking the juice. Cross-examination revealed that he had a great deal of experience massaging the bayonet.
