Just another thing to consider, the dvds you are burning you have two choices dvd+r dvd-r It will depend on your burner but +r is a Dell/Sony format that sony made so not to pay royalties to Phillips but the problem is some players won't play them and vice versa with the -r which are the most common, you will find that early Sony dvd players won't recognise them. With most current dvd players it isn't a problem but I've got a Sony that is 2 years old and it won't play dvd-r format.

Depends what your copying from and what hardware you have. If you're copying from a digital camera then you'd most likely use the firewire port. LM, I know it is probably a dumb question but does your PC have an analogue video card installed? Most computers don't have them as standard items when you buy the computer. If it doesn't then you will need to look at buying one and fitting it. If you google "analogue video card' you should find some information that can help. See the biggest problem you have is the conversion of an analogue signal to a digital format.

I use to live in Kings Cross in Sydney, which if you don't know it is very inner city and very busy on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Anyway because I lived in an apartment that didn't have parking if you went out for the evening, when you got home anytime between 7pm and 3am it was near impossible to park. There was this one evening when I found a park on the opposite side of the road, directly in front of my building but I had to cross the opposite lane to get to it, so I waited for the traffic to pass, with my indicator on so it was obvious to all I was waiting to turn into the park except this lass in her 20s who didn't give a shite and just dove into the park. As she gets out of the car with her mates she looks over and just smiles! Bitch. Pissed is an under statement. So I eventually find a park 10 minute walk down the road but before I leave the car I take a pen, a piece of paper and a tyre valve removing tool. Two valves removed and a very nice note I left for her. I bet she never did that to anyone again and no matter how good her night was the fact the car sat there for a day meant it ended as she deserved.
