1. In other words someone the Police have been after for years (unsuccesfully) has suddenly been charged with murder................................... In the UK you'd be thinking about the Guildford 4 etc etc at this point How ... convenient........ 46971 Possibly Rob or maybe they actually got lucky and got the right guy. You have to remember unlike in the UK the police here (and especially in WA, NT and SA) they have a tendancy just to shoot the ones they really want to pin something on. I know you will be relying on the beeb for your informed views but maybe for this you would like to also peruse our aunty for some reportage. try here
2. If you want it more work-friendly, you could always use this.... http://www.toontastic.net/forum/lofiversion/index.php 46957 lo-fi in this day and age? how could gemmill be hip with the kids if he goes lo-fi? 46960 Just pointing out to him that there is a choice.... 46962 Bloody capitalist societies and there choice. Bring back communism where choice wasn't an option.
3. and faye can only pass backwards 5 yards, so that rules him out. Maybe if Bowd was in the room we could scatch Shearer from the list aswell because there was no way it crossed the line.

8. "I've been a long time disappointment to myself."
9. Doesn't stop Souness trying to manage our football team, tbh.
10. Have to disagree with people here. The guy being tried for this is a piece of work who has been known to travel from South Australia to Western Australia leaving a trail of distruction on his path. I remember reading an article by one of the better investigative journos before he was arrested about how years before the police were just about to pounce on him until he skipped out of South Australia and there wasn't enough evidence to extradite him back. An ampetamines abuser, with a tendency for violence - never a winning combination.
11. For manc-mag, all chebs: and
12. Wouldn't it be more accurate and probably a better film, if he was to look at the life of an aging has been boxer. Fighting with alcoholism, picking fights in bars to prove he's still the champ, broken nose and all. Culminating with him dying in a puddle of his own urine, on his cot in a hostel for the homeless.
13. Should know I do. It's a life thing.
14. Bowyer - he was in match winning form against Wigan Emre Shearer It doesn't look good when the two best players for the day weren't on the pitch for the whole game and the 3rd is an old man.
15. Correct me if I'm wrong but he didn't play Carr as a right midfielder, he played him as the central holding midfielder! Carr is an out and out right sided player, he has only one foot, he always likes to pass inside and he uses the sideline as his tether for running up and down the pitch. It is understandable that Souness got slated for making a decision to play him in the centre but the RM is a different job and only a slight step up from where Carr plays his football. Where is the lack of credibility in that?
16. Thanks Yogic you are right but missed the point of the question as it was relative to Saturday's game. At about the 30 minute mark Bowyer had to go off injured and the master tactician decided Ameobi was the right player to replace him with???
17. After watching that poor excuse for a game on Saturday it confirmed what many of us have known for a long while, with Souness running the team and Ameobi in the team we will never win anything. The decision to replace Bowyer with Ameobi was mindless. The fact Ameobi is still chosen for the bench is a joke. With Bowyer on the right we have no natural width but watching him on Saturday he covered well, moving wide when necessary. The choice of Ameobi to replace him meant we had no-one on the right with the midfield going from 4 to 3. This then left the team with no hope of controlling the centre of the park which meant no service for our forwards or when by chance a ball did fall for Owen or Shearer, Ameobi was in the way. So this got me thinking, what would you have done if you were manager on Saturday? Using what we had available on the bench, I would of brought Ramage on as RB and moved Carr to RM, that way giving us a natural right flank player, who also knows how to defend. What would you have done? Or is Souness god and I'm mistaken?
18. HRs, I though you had never been here Gemmill? I bought a HQ (1973) recently for $400 aussie yen but I doubt there will be any at AIMS. I did see a maybach and some mighty fine booty when I was just in there. 45026 I haven't been there mate. It's just that's all anyone ever drove on Neighbours. Doug had a Ute and Lou Carpenter had an HR. 45028 Ah, don't watch it so I would never of known. The industry rumour here is it would be axed if it wasn't for the uk audience.
19. Newcastle Darlo Sometime QPR but I really don't care to much after Newcastle.

21. Not sure if anyone is interested but tomorrow, Thursday 13 October is the opening day for the Australian International Motor Show and I produce/direct a 6hr long live TV show of the reveals which is streamed on the web. You can log on to it here: Cars and girls, well I can't promise girls but there will be cars. It starts 11pm Wednesday 12 Ocotber UK time.
22. Q. Who wants to play with Gemmill's penis? A. The square root.
23. Like I said, I will be there whether the fat bastard Viduka and team make it or not. At last we find out tomorrow who the play-off is against, in the highly unlikely event that we actually may play football, being skippy's and all, hey Isegrim?
