1. Alex, we all know that this comment is good craic anaral but lets be honest it is the best argument against how even a football expert can get it so wrong. If a manager like SBR of impeccable credentials can be wrong just what does it say about someone like Souness and some of his decisions. 50656 By football expert you mean Blaydon, right? 50658 Yeah because Blaydon picked the starting 11 for what, at least the last 4 years, prior to Souness and he often told the press how Viana was a DM. 50660 Did SBR ever say Viana was a DM? I thought when said 'replacing Speed' he just meant left side of central midf. 50661 Sorry CC but what do you think SBR regarded Speeds position as??? When Rob Lee was ushered away his replacement according to SBR was ... yes you guessed it DM or as it use to be known, the holding midfielder..

3. I've got that game on tape and it is one that I constantly watch and yes HTT, you are so right - the whole team ahd this self belief that they could chase anyone down, maybe it became more of a ego thing than we will ever know. On the Robert comment, remember that second season he had a shocker, was out injured for the first half of the season and then had to win his place back from Viana. I think the fractured vertebre was probably a lot worse than we imagined and he seem to lose a bit of mobility after that. 4. Here you go dad, let me help you: As opposed to: Feel better now???
5. Supporting HTL's argument, straight from the horse's mouth piece. NUFC official website
6. Anyone get the feeling we have a bit of a schizophrenic poster contributiing at the moment?
7. Just logged on and it is there for me. Hit refresh.
8. Thanks for pointing that out dad, I'll see if I can find where I've obviously misplaced my sense of humour. By the way humour is subjective very much like opinions and smilies. You are wrong I do have a sense of humour, I find everything you write hilarious, FACT tbh.
9. Sth east asian version, you know cheap fucky fucky fife dolla.
10. self righteous enough to insinute the same towards those who say it's complete crap though. Incidentally, do you still think Souness will be "successful" [ie top 4] now that we have the moral booster of making hard work of beating a team certain to be relegated 48906 49053 Well ? 49059 Boring. 49060 you'll do anything but admit you are wrong won't you ? 49063 Becareful LM he will offer to paint you something just because you disagree with him and therefore you don't understand/can't read/are having a bad day. 49065 Ooo ganging bang me. 49067 Thanks for the offer Gemmill but although I can't speak for LM, you are not my type. (Please note Gemmill's post has be modified without his knowledge in the hope creating some humour.)

12. All it takes is for one person to stand up (or in Mrs Parks case sit down) for their rights and the world will start to change. RIP in Mrs Park.
13. One of my clients is Toyota and if you want something that goes well and gives great fuel economy then you really can't go past the Prius. Around the city they use 5.5l/100km. The current model will give a lot of other a fright of the line but after looking at autotrader I see they are about 15k there!!! What about a Lexus IS200? Good vehicle, in your price range. The economy will be about the same as what you have but performance is better. If I was in the UK I'd be in for an Audi, they cost a bomb here but build quality and spec wise they are great value in England - an A3 quattro or S4, bloody hell you can even get a tt for that.
14. Well the first thing is what's he into? I had this discussion with a friend's wife the other day and she said she coudn't buy presents for shit. Whatever it is it has to be special. Something they would pick but with a bit of your taste. A handmade English silk tie in colours they like but with a pattern you like. A mont blanc pen in a design they would like but maybe fountain instead of rollerball. A new old stock swiss watch (ebay has plenty) that is brand new but 70s design and dirt cheap - brands like edox and omega are bargains. Cufflings, tie clips things that you can buy something that can have a bit of both of you. Even great quality sex toys - glass, titanium or stainless are good options. Forget consumables, even music because as you said if people want those things they just go buy them.
15. wwtdd.com??? What a bizzare site. Today's porntastic starlet. Yum.
16. You sort this yet Meenzer?
17. should know this is incorrect as they are all black & white
18. I agree with a lot of your sentiments there. There's 2 questions that are worth asking, I think. When's the last time we played good football? And the stickler, is anyone really playing good football anymore? For what it's worth I'd trade points in our next league match for a better manager, I hope our summer signings (and I believe another 10m+ in January to replace Shearer) will have piqued the interest of some high quality managers. 48691 To quote Alex here: The teams that are playing more attractive football are those fighting for survival - financially. At the moment I'm watching up to 5 premier league games a week and teams like West Ham, Charlton even Pompey are trying to play attractive football. Norwich last season tried to play attractive football but the problem is it doesn't really work against the chelski's, pool's and bolton's who go out to stifle the game and win it on the counter attack. Souness tried it and found out the hard way that if you don't have the players to utilise for the 4-3-3/4-5-1 formation then you won't score goals. Hope you're right DotBum but I can't see where another 10m is coming from. The only sellable assets the club has are players they need to keep and if you had of seen fat Freddy's face on Sunday, I don't think the pit is bottomless, he knows there is a good team in there somewhere just like the rest of us supporters.
19. drinks to forget but forgets why he drinks
20. So what, if Shearer scored 2 off the end of his cock standing on the goal line and we still won 2-1 then I know what I would take. SMB.
21. As stated in the other player rating thread. Ameobi - ffs why can't you play like this everyweek man. I swore and cursed everything you did for the first 25 minutes and then you just came to life. Emre - class with him in the team with Nobby we finally have a midfield that looks like they can make something out of nothing. Ramage - Mate when you stopped that cross with your face and then started to check you still had your teeth while looking for your man to mark, at that point you were an example to the two senior defenders in the team. Nobby welcome home son, god how we missed you.
22. In fairness, I've noticed Sammy has that effect on people. 48701 Love you too DotBum. I'm not being argumentative for the fun of it, Gemmill made a throw away line statement and told the world it was FACT. Well as I've always known FACT means: Now we know the meaning of fact, lets look lets look at the FACTS. Dyer would bring something to the team if he was available but he isn't. Bellamy would bring something to the team if he was available but he isn't. Ambrose would bring something to the team if he was available but he isn't. Hughes would bring something to the team if he was available but he isn't. Robert would bring something to the team if he was available but he isn't. Jenas would bring something to the team if he was available but he isn't. Out of all of the above players, 3 players scored goals, one hit the post with a screamer, another scored an own goal (although there were two opposition players there to put it in the net anyway) but then went on to stop a sure goal to keep his team in the match and one was injured, having played only 2 games this season just before securing an 80k/week contract. FACT. The other thing to look at is if he was available, who would you have dropped to the bench to accommodate him in the starting 11? Do you really think he is going to be content to come off the bench? Jesus wept, I didn't think so.
