Not true, 1937 was only about 10 years ago in Perth!
-
And the fact @RobinRobin lives in Perth, not Scotland, also further complicates the whole discussion - but this place has always been too snobby, too perpetual!

Like you don't know Fist? Something about recipricol Chuck Berry?
-
How the fuck would he know? Hobbiton is in New Zealand. And no they were bigger and our ears are way less pointy.
-
Or that he's been "undone" by the old bill.

Saw Carcass here in Sydney in the early 90s with a mate who is the guitarist in a well know Australian stoner band and it was one of the weirdest gigs I’ve been too. As someone who was use to pogoing and moshpits, everyone at the Carcass gig seemed to have their own personal space that no one else was allowed in. I don’t remember anyone even bugging my mate, which at the time was weird as they had just toured as the support for Nirvana - strange folk those grindcore fans! Carcass were great btw.

Just don't ask him for Jeffery Dahmer cooking tips.

I don't think the players have either, which is a big part of our problem at the moment. If you look at the squad, who in it has actually won something? Trips La Liga? No one else. The weight of expectation for both the league cup and the CL places is definitely taking its toll on our players (and supporters) at the moment. Winning mentality only comes from actually from getting across that line. The first trophy will be hardest.

Better be careful or you might find yourself actually being deported to Hobbiton, if an Australian that actually cares about cricket hears you.

And was time kind or is it just the pull of a golf ball through a garden hose? Feel free to PM us all her details.

Not sold out as such but once he was off the gear it all turned to shite. Last decent album was Tender Prey, which was actually 1988 but even some of that is just bang average. The Birthday Party stuff is my fave, Mutiny is just brilliant in your face, angry at the world and all the lies that religion and politics bring, punk. To me Nick is summed up in his muses, Birthday Party it was Roland S Howard who's music I rate highly. He was also the calm that churned Nick's anger/hate and that made for great music. Then early Bad Seeds Hugo Race, from The Wreckery another great band from Melbourne if you have heard them, took over the RSH role and although he wasn't as good he still had a darkness about him. Also Barry Adamson was still playing bass for them at that stage and Blixa was only a bit player. Then by Tender Prey Blixa Bargeld had become Nick's latest muse and Nick starts moving to more of his ballad type rubbish - remembering Blixa had Einsturzende Neubauten as his outlet for noise and mayhem. And so now Nick is drowning in the Ship song and doing duets with Kylie, bore-fucking-ing. Then Blixa moves on and is replaced by Warren Ellis, the mad violinist from the Dirty Three and again his new muse has another outlet for mayhem outside of the Bad Seeds plus by this time Nick is a tea totalling, got to get up for my morning constitutionals at 5am middle aged man, he's now just a caricature of the singer from The Birthday Party, singing about God and shit. But he's popular and middle aged formerly indie/alt women love him! That's my unpopular opinion anyway!

@PaddockLad and @spongebob toonpants you need to check out Crows if you haven't already. Kind of mash up of post punk and the JMC/Black Angels/BRMC out of London.

Don't know what your problem is Gazza, insanity is only a state of mind and that first EBTG album along with Tracey Thorn's solo album before EBTG are both class and great soundtracks for the dance of the two headed beast! Bet you've looked her up on FB since?!??

Not a podcast but a blog with audio. A few of you may have caught on to my disdain for contemporary Nick Cave, actually any Nick Cave post 1986 but I will give Grinderman a pass because at least he was trying, anyway my pity for Nick is only topped by my complete loathing of Steve Kilbey from the Church. But I've always rated Marty Wilson-Piper from the same band and he has a daily blog about music. There is obviously a lot of hippy rubbish but there are other, interesting things too. https://www.indeepmusicarchive.net/

Yeah, don’t think it is hot when they push it up Gwyneth’s arse, most likely iced, chai’d and latte’d! Fish’s missus CEO is obviously looking for early retirement if he thinks that line is going to fly. He may as well starting handing out the polaroids of her gargling said black balls, just to make sure he didn’t miss anyone.

As long as he doesn’t continue lounging around the back post!

Dave had well known heart issues for a few years now but 54 is too young. RIP Dave, everyone should have, at least once, used your phone message. The sad modern truth of our consumer driven society.

It's obvious oppositions have decided to sit deep against us but at the same time we've turned into a pedestrian team, more concerned with possession stats than what we are actually doing with the ball. Too many hiding, as others have said, maybe they have the cup final at the back of their mind but you cannot just turn form on and off to suit. I also worry that Bruno, although he will be back for the final, won't be match fit and we can't afford that. As for Maxi, he's done. He cannot seem to get his head around what is required to be both part of this team and his natural footballing self. For a man that claims high intelligence, he's extremely dumb. But for LTA's sake, I did enjoy his best moment was the result of combining with Gordon, the irony. They need to get their heads right and quick, it would be our wildest dreams to finally win a cup but the whole season cannot rest on that one game.

Fucking hell, when did OTF turn into Steve Irwin and marry Dame Edna, FFS OTF, no wonder we don't get to play pre-season football anymore!

And, and I tell you, the Super Furries have a "parallel" (new) band!
