Is that a trick question? I can think of someone. I can think of two! The fat man and his PR agency Well I was thinking of a regular poster who is too busy to go on here much nowadays for some reason..... Renton, you're slipping.

Hate to say it because they are both good players in their own right but we don't look like we are going forward from the centre of the mid-field when they play together, which is obvious in the lack of support our forwards are getting.
-
Loaded question SM because regardless of whoever is manager, with Shepherd as chairman they will always be undermined when it comes to transfer dealings and that must be obvious to the players - so why would they listen to the puppet when they know it's the clown who makes the decisions. Maybe the fat fucker could install himself as manager at least that way he can take full responsiblity for the effect his actions have on the team. Scolari by the way. He's available and would command the respect of the players.

[Looks over shoulder for Papa] But surely that would help us by allowing us to play our strongest backline of damage, roMoreeio and taylor removing the problem of having to rely on brokendownCarr and bubba-baba. [/runlikehellbeforePaparealisessomeoneissuggestinga3-5-2]

Anything to divert the attention away from the current plight, more good PR on the fat man's behalf.

Take a huge Shepherd out banner then. Spray paint on a white sheet should do the trick. No No, quickly buy a shirt off ebay!

I've been reading an interesting biography on Joy Division and something that was mentioned in it has really struck a cord recently, so I was wondering what other people's opinions are on the subject? The author was talking about the band with Martin Hannett's production ability to produce a journey through each side of the albums, Unknown pleasures and Closer, something which they point out is now being lost first through the CD format's ability to be a whole release (no pause as you turn it over) and more so with mp3, etc and how less and less people actually listen to a whole album, instead chosing to create compiles of their favourite songs. Further more Hannett's demise in the industry was his inability to get his head around the fact that CD releases were no longer a musical journey but 14 singles packaged onto one release, which must apply even more to the current medium. Also gone is the art of run off track releases, anyone ever heard The Glove's (Robert Smith and Steve Severin's band) musical interludes on the LP Blue Sunshine between each track? Very entertaining. So that, the cover/inner sleeve artwork and the run off track messages on vinyl, are a whole musical art form that is being lost. So what do you think? Is it better to get that song you like cheap through whatever site you use or is it important to maintain the whole "album" release concept? Would releases by Sigur Ros or Radiohead (examples only people if you don't like them then think of someone's work you do like) be as effective/interesting/appealing if you only heard the one track? Or is it so much better not having to listen to that track 8 (and it's always track 8 because all musos know you've just got settled in by that stage and aren't going to get up and forward past it), which is obviously just arty wank for the sake of arty wank?

What's Wadnesday? I though Waddle must have just been appointed manager! Edit: Thought you may try that KCG - so the proof.

Strange but true. I remember whilst studying American classic literature it was mentioned that the american accent and phonetic pronunciations were actually closer to old english than modern English english. Allegedly it's the result of mass migration of English religious minority communities (which explains a lot more about the fuckers) and their insular ways. Now the australian accent is the result of all us english/irish/scottish convicts being smacked in the face to much by the english gentry when we first arrived and the noo zeelenders learning to not pronounce U in fear of their girlfriends getting wind of whats about to happen and scampering off further up the paddock.

He is but I don't think his history with Liam Reddy and Ante Millisivich did him any favours when he went to Newcastle and they left because of it. That and any team with Remo Nogaroto as chairman is as big a timebomb as any team with fat Freddy Shepherd as chairman! Re the cove, that's just the name of the area they sit - "fuckwits with just one song" is what they are called. (Forgetting the Sydney Melbourne rivallry I think you might find the rest of the country looks upon all who live in both cities as "pretentious twats" )
-
Have you no shame? You have forgotten to mention the mighty Newcastle United (let's try and forget the Jets shite) return to form. Sack their coach, sorry Nick Theo but something must of been wrong, and then the interim coach takes 6 points from the next two games including Brisvegas away! By the way woody, I've got Sydney season tickets and with every game I sit amongst those fucking idiot fans and watch the fucking dross Sydney turns out under Butcher's instructions makes me want to see Adelaide beat both Melbourne and Sydney to the title. Both big cities clubs are full of nothing but fair weather fans!

Has to be said but besides SJP there has only been one common element since 1996. Fat Freddy Shepherd, his side kick wonder boy, Hall Jnr and their contempt for all Newcastle fans as shown in such incidents as:

Seeing the legs have fallen off Nobby and Milner is a villan come Jan we probably should look to the Chelski bargain bin again and also put in a offer for Wright-Phillips (as well as not instead of defenders and strikers ok fat man?) (Yes LM we know we have no money but we are going to need someone). Does anyone know, or would like to offer an opinion, if/when Dyer breaks down again the week after next and the club forces him into retirement, how does the insurance pay out work? Are the club entitled to claim his wages since he last played? Or is it just an agreed figure payout of what the club have valued him at?

I, like many, have always been doubtful of the appointment of Shearer into the top job as his first managerial appointment but if you look at the success the team had after he was appointed as Roeder's no.2 and then at how the team performed without him after he was injured against the village of the dammed, there has to be some worth to his contribution. What is disappointing about our situation, regarding the fat man and his appointment of managers during his time, is I read the other day about how Hiddink's job with the Russian national team is Abramovich lead and basically he is there until Roman moves the special one on. So not only has Chelsea's chairman had the best manager in England for the last two seasons, he has already planned for the clubs future after things turn sour with Mourinho! Who says forward thinking isn't the way to run a football club?

Fucking hope not. It would cost a fortune to have ramps going all the way up to the board room & directors' box. Health & safety nightmare, tbpfh. Maybe but at least the old bugger knows something about passing!

The best posts are always the ones that state how pointless the thread they're posting in is. I feel it really raises the bar. Possibly but you have to agree the best threads are always the ones where someone decides to display their bigotry and ignorance, allowing perfectly good forums the opportunity to attain the heights of the tabloid press. And for this verlaine we thank you

Must pointless thread ever. If you don't like the station change the channel.

I for my part am obsessed. I have never really been a fan of Emre. My criticism is also a counter-reaction to all those people who bang on how GREAT he was again, when in fact he did little or nothing productive on the pitch. But to assure you, I think Parker is overhyped as well. Do you rate anyone Dr Gloom? Talking about Gloomy. toon v fenerbahce At his best workshy tarts v bolton wanderers
