An LP is the white album or Ok computer or london calling or movement or whatever floats your boat. A lot of song from various periods in a musical life lumped together does not make and LP except in A'n'R record selling eyes.

It's interesting listening to people's perception of Emre and where his best position is. Personally I think he is very much like Viana and neither are a box to box or holding midfielders. To me he is a midfield version of Recoba or a less talented Ronaldinhio, a player that's ability is to drift in and out of the game, with nothing more expected of them than to pop up with that pass that sets their team mate through on goal or those moments of magic that baffle their opponent. And that comes back to why he isn't as successful in a 4-4-2 as he would be in a 3-5-2, in a 4-4-2 he has a rigid work ethic expected of him. And because he's not an out and out goal scorer where Recoba and Ronaldinhio are the only formation he will be outstanding in is 3-5-2, two to supply and two to back him up, hence his success in Italy. It's hard to disagree with that. But do you think he could work the same wonders with our lot when he is being undermined by the chairman because all the players know that it isn't the manager that makes the transfer decisions?
