  1. exactly so he should be great for us in the championship then Scotty.
  2. Just scored a screamer for Stoke. Would you have him back to replace the useless old banger we've got at right back?
  3. Has Keane fallen out with Yorke yet?
  4. Amazing to think some people STILL haven't gotten over an event that happened 19 months ago. Ok let me rephrase it for you and your sensitive eyes. I hate Nicky Butt, absolutely loath him after that cup semi-final a time when the team really needed to stand up after the way they lay down in the UEFA Cup semi-final, also for his complete lack of heart that whole season, the way he ran to one of his ex-manic wanker mates to escape the responsibility of his lask of commitment to a team willing to pay his over inflated wage and how once under Steve Bruce's wing he did nothing on the pitch but in the media sprouted how he'd love to get away from Newcastle and stay with Brum because they were such a good club, only for him to then land back on our door step and expect a pat on the back and forgiveness but at half time when Emre replaced him and Parker was left on the pitch, I was amazed. When Butt gave the ball up, he chased it down and won back possession, when Parker gave it away he just jogged after the opposition player. That make you feel better? Bet you also forgive Dyer/Bowyer for all their sins and shame they have brought to the club? And you just can't wait until Dyer is back because it's going to be "like a new signing." Be nice if some people actually had convictions instead of moaning one moment and cheering out their arse for the exact same player moments later. By the way I'm thinking that Butt and Emre are our best combination in the centre at the moment but it still doesn't mean I have to like the guy. Nicky Butt was guilty of a non-performance in the semi final. He then walked off the pitch without cheering the fans, probably because he's not used to playing in front of such a precious bunch that need THEIR performance in the stands to be applauded. He's used to playing in front of fans that you reward with trophies, not applause. The hugging Alex Ferguson bit was ill-advised, but it was hardly evidence that he was a double agent or anything. This season he has looked a decent enough player for us, and I would be starting him in games, but NOT alongside Parker, at home, against relegation candidates. Dyer has done very little wrong other than be injured and get paid too much. I can't understand why folk hate him for that. As you know I disagree with you about Butt but your welcome to your opinion. As for Dyer, what's he done wrong apart from being injured all the time? How long have you got? Being instrumental in the downfall of Robson might be a good place to start. Robson was instrumental in his own downfall tbh. He let them get away with murder and they played on it. Come on then, what's he done? I'll let you know in advance though that I'm not accepting crashing his car as crime of the century. Besides pissing in the street and getting caught, fighting with Bowyer on the pitch (Scotty you know it takes at least two to fuck or fight, though I'm not sure if you've experienced the first) and don't doubt he wasn't part of the problem, besides throwing the captain's armband to the ground, besides burning currency in front of people to show how well the club over pays him, besides the fact that there are other issues to his injuries and that is why he doesn't play many games for us, besides he has been a young gun for 6 years plus and done nowt accept put his hand out for his handsome wage. Need I go on?
  5. If you're interested Australia's equlivalent of the Grand National is on tomorrow. Unlike the National which is a steeplechase, the Melbourne Cupis just a galloping race but it is run over 3200m, making it a long race. So what I hear Gemmill cry, well there is a horse called Geordieland running in it and it is in with a shot. Just though it may interest the betting few of you on here.
  6. Hope you were smart enough to walk away from that one
  7. Considering some of the football opinions voiced on here I'm not surprised they don't recognise it as anything to do with sport! Did I see P sitting behind the goal during Saturday's game? Could of sworn it was his baldy heed! Not as far as I know. If he was there he didn't tell me he was going I'm probably wrong, it must of been his twin.

  9. Nothing quite like getting the fans oot to watch us get twated and then butt fucked by man poo live on the box!
  10. Cath why didn't you just go to .com? 5:15pm and live on SKY for all us foreign armchair supporters I can't get on .com from work man - that's what I said! But it's not as if it's a "proper" sports page. And yet they let you skive about here all night, go figure.

  12. One word. Dag. Truth of the matter is dag really isn't that far from anal bleaching
  13. Two words describe the states: Anal bleaching
  14. Sorry Leaze but it can't be denied, Freddy is doing as he chooses when it comes to players. Those various passages that were in SBR's updated book, I don't have them but I don't doubt you have read it with your passion for the club, where he talks of not knowing about Woodgate's sale and the Bowyer being offered up to any club behind his back are proof. You might be right (I don't buy into this argument that you can't be wrong) we may end up with a worse chairman but if you look at the recent atrocious chairman for other clubs, clubs that have all suffered relegation or have been on the brink of relegation/bankruptcy, they have all been someone who meddles in team affairs and are constantly in the press. Sound like someone we know?
  15. Leaze, sorry mate, I for one have agreed with you on many things, not the least the whole Souness/Bellamy shite but I don't think you can use the arguement in bold any longer. It is obvious to all that Shepherd is picking and choosing who Newcastle sign, not the manager (the rumours of other managers turning us down for this very reason are to many and often). And you have to agree that is untenable for a manager, any manager to build a team from players someone else is telling you you are having.
  16. Near "the corner" there was 2 blokes arguing with each other, and one left, then 3/4 people were shouting at him, then at the back of the lower tier sme 7 foot charv was arguing with 2 blokes. Then at the back of the middle tier something was kicking off, a stewart went up and told some people to leave I think, but nothing happened, I dunno what that was about. Gemmill or Pud? Sounds like Pud in the fuck of freddy stakes, sounds like Gemmill in the charv stakes
  17. At least there would be some forward movement, Emre, Parker and Butt all sit to deep for my liking. The one time Parker ventured forward on Saturday the ball landed at his feet and he had an opportunity to shoot. The way Nobby keeps cutting inside it might be worth starting him in the centre with Butt with Milner and Charlie on the flanks.
  18. I got 42 but a few games I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

  20. Assume all you like benny boy, it's got fuck all to do with football reasons and what gets the team results. You don't need to justify or defend Roeder's actions, so don't.
  21. Funny that Chelsea have never been invited to "observe" the G14, even after their two titles and buckets of money, whereas the fat man has on a number of occassions and aspires to be part of the extended G14. But you're right it's got fuck all to do with it, more another point why it will never happen. Everytime I've seen us linked with G14 Chelsea's name has been linked too. Clicky Meanwhile, Shepherd has been invited to Tuesday's meeting of the G14 clubs in Lisbon along with Chelsea's Roman Abramovich. Celtic and Rangers have also been invited as observers. Fair enough, I do remember reading something to the contrary but that's purely academic. I still stand by the fact Houllier wouldn't come to us if we were the last team on earth, with our current board and their attitude.
