Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

I just got 14/1 for Everton to finish the top half, guaranteed now Scotty boy has spaffed his Everton relegation load. -
Nice work Rob and congrats on skipping straight to the deed. BTW I use to buy shirts like that from charity shops back in the 80s when the 60s garage punk thing was big. The Lime Spiders or the Scientists can't be wrong!

I cannot see how UEFA will be able to get a Saudi wild card through, there would have to be a majority support from the National associations and honestly there is nothing in it for them or the clubs involved with the Champions League. Copa America is different, it's a tournament held over a number of weeks and is a competition of national teams, no different to a WC or Confederation Cup. BTW Australia was meant to play the year of the pandemic but pulled the plug on that once the plague took hold. The CL is held over 4/5's of a season. To include team(s) from another continent means more travel costs and no additional revenue to UEFA, the middle east already pays a small fortune for the TV rights. Plus how could you include the ASL winners in Pot 1, the rankings would be a joke. @Diego21 I don't doubt you but I just have to question why it would make it past being laughed out of the room. Australia compete in the EUro Song Contest, so anything is possible.

I doubt they are bad enough to take the mackem's lowest every points total trophy. -
That cannot happen unless SA is able to move Federations and I cannot see them giving up almost guaranteed World Cup qualification through Asia every four years, to be in UEFA and never have a hope in hell's chance of qualifying again. Isn't one of the biggest reasons to improve their league to in turn improve their local players? They've just watched Qatar host a WC and be the whipping boys of the tournament. SA also want to hold a World Cup in the near future but there is no way they want the team to perform as badly as Qatar did. BTW what are the 10 best leagues in the world? 1. PL 2. La Liga 3. Bundesliga 4. Serie A 5. Ligue 1 6. Eredivise 7. Primeira Liga 8. Super Lig 9. ? 10. ? 9 and 10 could be anything. Brasil's Serie A or Argentina's Primera Nacional have some decent players but overall gets little coverage. J-League and K-League have more coverage but are limited by their local player rules. Second/Third tier leagues like Austria's Bundesliga, the SPL, Belguim First Division A financially cannot compete with the MLS but it's football is lower championship/league one level most of the time. You'd even have an argument that the Championship is stronger and better followed league than the leagues from 6 down. Unless they can build it to compete with those top 6 leagues then they really haven't succeeded.

And China, remember how good all those 19 goal Vagner Love scored were? Those highlight packages? No? Because no one saw them or fucking cared.

You don't need a child seat when the twat is hog tied in the boot!

Bet Eddie offered to drive him but the cunt wouldn't ride in the boot.

Wasn't Sima around in the days of the shark board as well? He/She/They have been around as a right stoppy twat for a long time. Middle aged farmer from the moors would have been my guess.

Not if he's a brother of Islam, Egg-Lettuce would probably be better.

Scary if it is. Who wants to go to NO and find out?

That's poor luck Blastronaut because the simple and correct answer would have merely been, "even the English don't care." It's been good for here as the host because it has shown that football can be bigger that it currently is and it's also fortunate that the women's team is more competitive than the men's. For those that think women's football isn't as good as men's, I'd argue even though it's the same sport, it's a totally different game. Some of the challenges women get away with would be instant red cards in the men's game and I don't think I saw much given for shirt pulling let alone some of the rugby tackles!

Of course it's boring, you fucking morons aren't the target audience. You already spend hours everyday on a NUFC supporters message board, listen to podcasts about the club, live and breath everything NUFC. It's for the non supporters, for the twats that scream sportswashing, for those in the US who are finding sawker and looking for a team to support, you bastids have already lived it, the producers don't care what you think. Most of it seems candid which is good, there are a few horror frankengrabs making the corporates say what they want in 6 words instead of 60 but my biggest surprise is, this is Sima, ffs I always thought she was a grumpy middleaged he!

Not a great game, good performance from our defence but as others have said from the midfield forward things looked out of shape. I would have liked to have seen Isak moved out left and Wilson up front but now with Gordon and Barnes the first two choices for LW, that is probably no longer an option in EH's mind. It just seemed like Isak was pissed off with being so isolated and keeping him on may have sparked something for him and Wilson. Time to move forward and keep looking ahead.

Bugger but your hearing will probably thank you. It's all gone a bit quiet here but thinks start up again from mid September.

Speaking of which, this is pretty cool. Thanks for reminding me, chinese mouse penis.

Wrong. Next Goal Wins about the American Samoan team is the best football documentary ever made.

You sure this guy isn't Neil Young's illegitimate child? @PaddockLad no not ginger fucking Josh! There is just something about Joshy boy and QOTSA that doesn't sit right. Maybe how he tried to turn Brody Dalle into the new Stevie Nicks??? Or the fact he's just a wanker? He's probably a great guy - hope it's a decent show because no doubt tickets are expensive. Anyway this:
