Fuck a draw btw. I want Ten Hag to get embarrassed.
-
Man United. Neville sounds like someone's just wiped their arse on his microphone cover.
-
It's 3 game weeks for all the lads in Europe for the foreseeable now. Villa just came off a 3 game week with the League Cup and they've now got Bayern on Wednesday and Man United on Sunday. If we keep heading in the right direction, the fixture pileup for these teams should do us a load of favours.

Howe basically admitted in his press conference that he's had to have words with Gordon, and yesterday he got his response. If the manager is saying that, then fans are entitled to have had their say about him. He absolutely hasn't looked right this season until yesterday.

Fools.

Declaring yourself the king after one draw btw. Who do you think you are, me?!
-
Lineker repeated his patter that he's said on his podcast loads of times: if the keeper is running out to you, knock the ball past him and you're both travelling at such speed that you know he'll likely make contact. There's no requirement for the striker to jump over the challenge, and it's a penalty. Fuck you Alan and fuck you Shay.

Howe's half-arsed civil war slackers v Pep's champions in waiting

I think we're only the 5th game on MOTD. They only get 8 minutes of highlights or something, and they've selected Tonali going down theatrically to Grealish's "elbow" as one of them. -
@Dr Gloomand @wykikitoonyou thick fucking no-reading-comprehension cunts! @Kid DynamiteI'm simply copying you in for information. This is what I wrote. I'm arguing AGAINST Shearer who says it wasn't a penalty. In other words, I'm saying it was definitely a penalty. Given and Shearer are who I'm calling dinosaurs. They don't want an incident like that to be a penalty, but the game has moved on, and if they want to be pundits in 2024, they need to stop claiming an incident like that isn't a penalty. It's been a penalty for at least a decade. Just reply to this and apologise. No need to start a new thread and I won't respond to your PMs.

Got MOTD on here. The Arsenal game. In the second half Calafiori commits his second bookable offence. Regulation yellow card, no question about it. Ref does fuck all about it and then books the Leicester player for waving the imaginary card at him. Its 2-2 at this point, game on a knife edge, and the ref completely bottles it. It's the sort of decision where you know he's got Arteta's crybaby press conference and an Arsenal club statement in the back of his head. They should have been docked points for that, they knew exactly what they were doing.

Arsenal winner. Bastards.
-
Great from Leicester. Hopefully they can take points and ruin Arteta's day.

Kemper have just released an upgrade for their latest unit (cost 749 euros), and if you want all of the new features it'll cost you 300 euros. Paid firmware upgrades ffs. Hopefully everyone bins their Kemper and that'll be enough to stop the other companies from starting this shit.

Half time boos at Goodison. Turned back over just in time.
-
Brighton are obsessed with playing 5 a side in their own box. Cole Palmer approves.
-
4 for Palmer now.
-
3-2 now after 34 minutes. Game of the day.
-
Remember when we tried to get Cole Palmer on loan (same window we were trying to get Lingard iirc). Gutted we didn't pull that off with some sort of option to buy. He's ridiculous.
-
Chelsea all over Brighton. Cole Palmer 31 minute hat trick. Brilliant free kick for his third. Chelsea look to be properly back in business this season.
-
Everton losing at Goodison again. Guehi the scorer too. I'm putting it on to drink in the fractious atmosphere and the boos.

Joleon Lescott who's worked with Gordon for England U21s and now seniors says he's never known a player to be as interested in working as hard off the ball as he does on it. Spunking on about his "football IQ". -

Gordon on there saying he's not at peak fitness yet. Says he's about 90% but games like today with constant running will help him. Says last year was his absolute peak physical condition and he needs to get back to that. -

Aye. Of course he left his leg in to make contact with the keeper and go over. It's fucking shite but it's also now an accepted part of the game. "There was contact so he's got a right to go down". You hear it all the time. No point being a couple of old dinosaurs and claiming it's not a penalty. That's been a penalty every time for at least 10 years now.
