It's absolutely right that season ticket holders aren't automatically made members and given the chance to buy extra seats BTW. Were they previously also given priority over "normal" members?

I'm sure the fan base will lose something, but it definitely shouldn't be this closed shop like it is currently. Not that I'm suggesting you think it should be. You better fucking not anyway right.

The True Faith episode last week about tickets had some ropey moments. Some bloke recounting a story of talking to a man who said his son wasn't able to get an away ticket despite being a season ticket holder 20 years. The man went on to say that his son had never previously been to an away game, to which the lad on the podcast goes "So y'kna, red flag there straight away for me." This one is not pure enough to go to away games! Openly talking about how they massively benefit from sharing tickets with their mates and vice versa, and sounding less than thrilled at the prospect of ballots.

Aye but the point is, me as an individual not getting on a plane or not eating a steak isn't going to solve the climate crisis. This needs addressing from the top down, not by me not going on holiday. As long as politicians sit on their hands, the rest of us are wasting our time making micro lifestyle changes.

I'm fully fingers in ears on this now. I know we're accelerating towards oblivion but there's nothing I can do about it. Politicians need to get a grip of the situation. They definitely won't. They can't even come up with a plan that survives the week, never mind something to save the planet.
