But the thing is, you can't say that the league is a write off, cos they still make you play the 38 games. Your chance of winning the League Cup is boosted DRAMATICALLY by not being in 4 competitions (hint: again, they make us play all 38 league games, so that's not the one that we can give up on) but you won't have that. As to what meaningful changes we can make in terms of selection, we will have to accept putting out a worse first 11 in the short term. The alternative is to continue to flog the same 10 outfield players, and you can't seriously think that that's the right answer? We have to rotate in worse/youth players and hope that they perform.

Congratulations. Enjoy watching the reserves!

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

I would bet there's been something approaching a 15% increase in minutes played too with all the stupid rules changes. -
Here's the boy! 2 people I've worked with are genuinely connected to him in a work capacity.

Tells you the last time I listened to it! Does city boy booze hound Henk Potts still do the business/drinking news?
-
Is Parry still his side kick? He's gone full Brexit nutcase so I wondered if they'd binned him. I used to find Brazil quite funny tbf. There is no higher priority in his life than booze and having a good time.

"Actually, the Talk sport guys have been really rather balanced on this one, so quite honestly I think you need to find another target for your ire. Leave pundits alone!"

Saw this quoted by you and thought "he'll be all over this! Bit of red meat! A chance to slate pundits!" Imagine my surprise....

Well played West Ham. 4 losses and a draw from Spurs last 5 games. Must be near the bottom of the form table, but don't worry cos ange has got a HORRENDOUS injury list. All the pundits have told me.

If anything, the impact of the support on last night was low single digits in percentage terms. The vast, vast majority of the reason for last night was exhaustion. We knew the squad wasn't big enough to cope with 4 competitions at the start of the season. We've now halved the squad and we're still in 4 competitions. Home form will be the next thing to go.
