The reason I asked that question is what "mystery illness" could he have that they have to keep quiet about, unless you gave him the clap again and their just embarrassed that he's to dumb to have not learnt the first time. Are people now saying that because this particular manager didn't work out it was wrong to give him time? He shouldn't have been hired in the first place, but that's a different matter. Anyone ever notice that when clubs hire and fire quickly, say 2 or 3 in a season that the replacements and performances get successively worse? Perhaps Souness was rash - maybe even he regrets getting rid of Bellamy - but Bellamy fully deserved to go for the way he carried on.

Aye I saw that interview too. Thing is, every interview I've seen him in since he's said he's off the drink, he's been slurring really badly.
