I assume it was just Livramento being out and he decided that Schar was more of a risk than Trippier.

My sister has gone down this rabbit hole. I just completely ignore it every time she mentions something. I'm also not on Facebook and I don't follow her twitter (Steve Baker MP does though ). Like the other day she sends me the thing about Piers Morgan interviewing the Baby Reindeer lass. I replied saying I won't watch cos I fucking hate Morgan and getting somebody mentally ill on his show is bollocks. She replies yes and he was one of those pushing for more lockdown, etc etc. End of text conversation for 24 hours and we'll go again on another topic until she veers into the central reservation again and I have to give her another unspoken timeout.

Believe it or not, they didn't let the 18 year old Saturday lad compile the odds for that day's fixtures. The fact we've only drawn twice in 18 away matches this season is likely a factor in those odds though. But BY ALL MEANS, go ahead and make that bet, Mr McCririck! You know best!

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

What is that Prince Akeem brown fucking thing all about? -
It's not hard to appear youthful and vibrant on here, given the frankly geriatric competition. But no, I'll be 50 next year unfortunately. I clearly still have powerful youthful vibes and GREAT energy though.

Speaking of building your hopes up for Sunday, we can still finisb 6th lads. Stranger things have happened on the last day of a PL season.
-
What a world we live in, man. Stupidity is now considered a virtue.
-
Stick the April match from last season in there too, and we were coming off a run of three wins on the bounce. Against Man United. Aye we got beat last night and it's incredibly disappointing because of the context, but we don't need to overreact.
-
Our record against them this season. P3, W2 L1. Trajectory all in our favour. They're the ones that should be worried, not us.
-
Two seasons ago we were a club in perennial relegation battles, and we turned up last night having already beaten these twice this season, home and away. These are the stats from the home PL game. We absolutely battered them, and we had the better of the action last night, and we're probably about to finish ahead of them in the league. I haven't posted the EFL stats cos they don't collect as many in that competition. This is two seasons after being permanent relegation battlers. I would say we're at least on a level with them now, although I actually think we're better than them. And if we've made up that much ground, that quickly, we'll kick on from here. The tide is turning, but even Man City can turn up to their place and get beat. I kept your comments about Trippier in cos I think they're incredibly harsh and, days on from you going in on people for criticising Almiron, Burn, etc, a little hypocritical.

Wilson back as well.
-
Lads, it's touching that you think my predictions are so powerful that they affect the result. Right let's get an equaliser ffs.
-
"going forward". This isn't your Teams meeting, FARTFACE.
-
Start Joelinton and Pope on Sunday.
-
It'll soften the blow if Ten Hag is still on the touchline for these come August. Howe and Tindall look livid. We're hoying the season away here.
-
Get Pope in for the last game ffs.
-
Celtic have just won their 54th title, one short of Rangers "world record" 55. Fuck off Scotland man, you silly billies.
-
My naughty telly's fell over so I'm having to listen on talksport. Casemiro and Evans at the back, Fernandes and McTominay sharing striker duties, we should have fucking battered these tonight. Really disappointing.
-
Come on lads. Won't get a better chance EVER.
-
Dubravka's ball that.
-
Fair play Murphy.
-
Get in!
-
Brighton haven't had a shot on target, the arseholes.
-
VAR "sticking to the high threshold" apparently. This is the problem Lineker talks about. They get criticised for giving an easy one, so they raise the threshold, then they get criticised for not giving one, so they lower the threshold. It's not the fucking threshold that's the problem here lads. You don't not give a penalty today cos some silly cunt gave a wrongun at the weekend.

Should be an 18 certificate when they've got Rooney on. The bloke is a fucking gargoyle.
