They spent a good 2 hours there making sure she was ok. I'm biased as its my family but what a gent, she was made up, even though she has had the company of Toon managers every week over the last 50 years she thought it was a nice touch, so did the rest of the family. I can remember us having several bad results under Robson at the start of the season we came 3rd, but I wasn't concerned a bit because I could see we were a good team. I read in the paper yesterday that we're giving up our Academy facilities to Sky for 4 weeks so that they can make their celebrities-play-football programme "The Match". Apparently the youngsters will be using "alternative facilities". An utterly fucking astounding decision by Shepherd - you have to wonder how many other clubs in the Premiership would do something so disruptive in the middle of a season (I'm guessing none).
