1. The only time he's looked really solid is alongside Titus last season when Bramble was playing out of his skin. Call me demanding but for the money we've paid, I expect a centre half to be decent in the air, Boumsong never wins a header unless he's marking a dwarf, as he was yesterday. 35252 He has to do better than he is, as currently Bramble and Taylor should eb the choice at CB but i suspect Souness won't have the balls/brains to do that and will shunt Taylor to RB if he wants to play all three. 35269 Souness dig quota maintained.
2. I'm in a good mood following yesterday though, there lies the difference. 35237 I'm still in a bad mood since the charvers tbh. But I enjoyed the goals immensely, they were all well taken. I'm just a bit worried about papering over cracks though, sorry, I can't help it. We need a sustained run for me to think differently. That's the difference. 35245 Hey, I agree mate. 35257 Good. Can we all be friends again, Gemmill included? 35260 Aye but any more foot-stamping like before and there'll be trouble.
3. I think we can all agree when I say that your shoes are completely unacceptable! 35259 Here man, not all of us can pull off the Run DMC look like you.
4. I have it on good authority that he has a phobia of ALL academies. Even the Academy Awards.
5. Manc-mag, that is the most retarded spot of quoting in HISTORY.
6. I'm not sure I understand what you mean. If you are talking about final league position, then I would say, considering the money he has spent, 4th place or higher must be achieved. I'll be amazed if that happens like. 35110 Substitute "amazed" for gutted. 35151 Gemmill, to be honest all that deserve is a FUCK OFF. I want the best for NUFC the same as everyone else, I just don't rate this manager like you do. You have now really, really pissed me off. 35176 You running yet Gemmill?? 35214 Ha ha, hilarious. Yes I'm pissed off. I thought I could come on here and have a sensible discussion about NUFC, but instead get childish insults because Souness has managed to fluke one game. I thought Gemmill might be above that tbh. 35217 That's giving Scott an awful lot of credit. Credit he doesnt deserve, tbh. 35228 Where's the.... R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Find out what it means to me. Sock it to me sock it to me sock it to me *repeat to fade tbh*

Looks like I was wrong Mr. Huffy Knickers. 35221 In fairness, he's upset at the result. 35224 The performance. And yes, part of me thinks its damaging for us in the long-term, it's not rocket science. 35227 So if we finished 4th surely you would then be gutted about what this was doing to us in the long term (ie. keeping Souness in a job)? So my joke turned out to be right then.......

10. Haven't they changed the rules so that the hosts still have to qualify? Or is it just the current holders that they changed it to? If they haven't made that rule change then they should in time for the 2018 WC.
11. Was it her that interrupted Bowyer and Dyer's apology press conference?
12. Oh ffs. Jesus wept. It proves absolutely nothing man! Edit: Oh yeah, everyone who saw it on Sky would have seen it, obviously. 34943 Pathetic but by no means unexpected response from Renton to a good deed from Souness. 35021 Seeing as he couldn't have a go at Souness for the result or the performance he needed to have a go for something 35028 I posted this on skunkers last night on a similar thread..... My aunt is the tea lady, (yes the same one who starred in the Bowyer Dyer press conference.) She has been tea lady there for over 50 years, her name is Cath Cassidy. Last week she had a heart attack and was hospitalised for the week, when she came home GS and Terry Mac appeared at the door with Dean Saunders. They spent a good 2 hours there making sure she was ok. I'm biased as its my family but what a gent, she was made up, even though she has had the company of Toon managers every week over the last 50 years she thought it was a nice touch, so did the rest of the family. Best thing was, before they got there they got the wrong house in battle hill, and had to be redirected by a bloke down the street, imagine what he was thinking. 35048 Nice one. Hope your aunt gets better an'all mate.
13. Hey Sammy are you gonna take your nephew to every game from now on? He's a lucky charm. Did he enjoy his day?

15. Yeah it rocks, getting a new Family Guy episode in 15 minutes rocks so hard,BitTorrent is actually the only program that puts my speed to test,I always get around 220-240 KB/S for the newest FG episodes. 34856 That's one of the nerdiest things I've ever read. 34867 It would be, except the person is a Family Guy fan and such taste and intelligence makes him immune to any criticism such is the genius of that programme! 34873 Second nerdiest thing I've ever read.

17. Yes Gemmill, the performance is the most significant thing in a league game, because this is the best indicator of how good we are. I can remember us having several bad results under Robson at the start of the season we came 3rd, but I wasn't concerned a bit because I could see we were a good team. It's a marathon not a sprint after all *insert other cliches here*. Trust you not to understand this, the Mr McKay voice really suits you! 34827 Glad you like it. The Grim Reaper costume looks good on you too. 34830 Thanks, it a designer fit. But seriously, do you mainly judge games by results or performances? It's an interesting question and might go some way to explaining why we rarely agree with each other. I'm also curious to understand how a person who purely looks at a match in terms of goals scored/conceded can argue with Roberts's statistical contribution? (Joke, I don't want to go there again!) 34832 Of course I consider the performance when I watch a match. Look at the match thread, I was going on about how woeful it was all the way through the first half. But we are a team desperately low on confidence, and once the goals went in you could see that coming back. And if we win an away game 3-0 and I can see the goals bringing some confidence back to the team, then I'm not going to dwell on the performance in the first half - I think that's the difference between the two of us tbh. You dwell on the negative more than I do. 34835 theres a difference between dwelling on the negatives, being realistic, and wearing rose tinted specs 34841 You're right. There is.

20. Hmm somebody didn't read my post, or deliebrately ignored what i said to make the above comment. Here it is again for you: If you seriously think that 3-0 win hides all that went before it in that game and all the shite thats gone before it this season and last then i'm worried for you! 34822 Like I said: 3-0 away win but the most important thing is the performance. Hokayyyyyyy.

22. I didn't even notice it. And Sky didn't make a big deal of it, which you can guarantee they would have if there was even a sniff of a story in it.
