1. I see. Well I can only apologise if you did stick up for southern fans but I didn't know that and noone mentioned it until now. 36680 You didn't ask what any of us thought of southern based fans. You turned up with a pre-determined viewpoint and tried to superimpose it onto people on here. It doesn't fit. I'll admit there are those that have a go at Southern based fans, but I don't think you'll find them on here - they tend to be the moronic 15 year olds that are amongst the posters on other boards.
2. I wasn't here when that happened, so if you were sticking up for non-Geordie fans, then cheers. My sole purpose isn't to wind people up. I think the things I say get read differently than if someone else said them. I have no problem winding up the numbskulls on here, but it's not my intention to wind up the good guys. There is a different mentality on this forum which is quite stark compared with other forums. Internet attitude is a game and I know many people here would probably be quite decent if you met them. 36663 It was on the old board. And it was most of the people that post on here that stuck up for non-Geordie fans, including those with Southern accents and also those posting from abroad. Which is probably why your craic on here has annoyed people a bit.
3. In Tynemouth it's probably the plaza tandoori, where the plaza used to be (strangely enough), near the park hotel. They are really a restaurant though and don't do deliveries I think. In Shields your guess is probably better than mine - I've got tons of flyers but I reckon they're all much of a muchness. I bet SLP knows.... 36656 I like Momin's Tandoori at Billy Mill, been going for years, but my Mrs doesn't like it...picky cow. You can become a member free of charge and you'll get 10% discount! Honest! 36666 It's normally that one that sets me off wanting one on the way home when I drive past it. Right, I'll give it a go. Do they deliver?

Every now and again I fancy one, but don't want to risk ending up with a scabby one.
5. Male pattern baldness victim tbh. 36636 hows the toxic leak son? oh and I'd rather have no hair than your hair tbh 36640 Just as well cos that's all you'll be left with by your late 20s. And I still won't be ginger.
6. Renton what's a decent curry takeaway place in N. Shields/Tynemouth?
7. Male pattern baldness victim tbh.
8. Well, I'm afraid you can't have it on the grounds that you're uninteresting and negative. I'm so sorry. 36597 I only hope I can recover from this.
9. I never claimed to be better than anyone. We're all equal. Some good bits, some bad bits. 36578 You're doing yourself a disservice there - you're much better at being an annoying twat than most people. 36584 Hilarious. 36588 Thanks. I crave your acceptance.

11. I didn't have to do a dissertation for my degree (Economics at Newcastle). Thank Christ too because I can think of nothing worse.
12. I've got a Burberry scarf, albeit a few years old. What class does that me? 36556 Scum of the earth tbh.
13. I never really give much thought to what class I am. I've got a middle class job though, I suppose.
14. Correction, if it doesn't involve securing money in a secure long-term low-yield investment they're not interested. Gambling makes you cry, doesn't it Gemill. 36509 You're talking to the bloke that had England at 9/1 to win the Ashes. No tears here.
15. We can't all be IT dweebs. 36486 And some of us have to be 'IT dweebs' supporting the financial applications for the accountants.... They've got to be the biggest bunch of arrogant bastards I've ever come across (speaking from experience ).. Not an ounce of common sense, if it doesn't involve money, they don't want to know! 36499 I've got news for you - anything IT-related is about as far removed from common sense as it gets. I bet you've got a comedy ringtone like the IT dweebs here though.
16. We can't all be IT dweebs. 36486 36492 You're an IT expert. Craig's the dweeb.
17. Just trying to get a bit of conversation going tbh. It strikes me that there's an element of paranoia and self-consciousness up here about what the "south" or "ver media" thinks of the NE. In my opinion, I don't think it's actually there at all which is why I was interested. 36422 How was asking what class people are going to get to the bottom of that then?
18. Was that to prove your love for Catmag? You also proposed to her that night.
19. Agree. But what's much more of a pain in the arse is the people who post and tell uz THYRe rrreelllay pppsssssssssd and TOO P--ro00vve so woLLLL TYPpe wreeaaly ba dyly! Looc Iymmmmmmso ps-55sed. (this phenomenon was seen on the 'other side' from time to time and I am pleased to say I can't recall seeing it on here since we 'came home') 36396 The aforementioned evening when SLP was on here absolutely hammered out of his tree has got to be the single most hilarious evening I've ever had the pleasure to be present for on this board. 36402 That was the night of the "Bridget would be the bloke out of Quantum Leap - different bloke each week" comment. Comedy genius.
