  1. In amongst all the shite, this was a really nice watch. Don't watch it if you're on public transport, you might start bubbling.
  2. Sunak still focused on the big issues. This will inevitably turn attention and questioning to how the prisons are full and we're letting dangerous offenders out early. Can they not think?
  3. Deleted my last post because I can't be arse to get into it with someone this stupid.
  4. Possible? One of the Guardian journalists earlier linked to a section of the debate where Starmer looks like he's trying to mention the letter but he gets shut down by Etchingham. Which would confirm that he DID know about the letter and was at least letting Sunak repeat it multiple times on the night: If this is right, he's basically Perry Mason.
  5. The next round of MRPs are gonna be terrifying for the Tories.
  6. Polls starting to flip following the guilty verdict....?
  7. Richard "I'm very loyal to the North East" Holden parachuted in as the SOLE candidate for the Billericay constituency btw. Was it NUFC.com that was forever on about Billericay Dickie? One of the refs iirc.
  8. Fraser Nelson of the Spectator coming for the Tories now.
  9. This thread is spot on, particularly the last post: "Finally, if more of the media could stop being pundits for five fucking minutes and forget "how this will play" in favor of reporting what is objective truth, that would be swell." Sunak doubling down on it, has just posted a video with Starmer repeatedly saying £2,000. I think this is gonna backfire pretty badly for the clueless prick.

    Gazza

"People say if I'd gone to Man United, Alex Ferguson would have kept me on the straight and narrow. Eric Cantona kicked someone in the neck, Wayne Rooney went with a granny, and Ryan Giggs went with his brother's wife...... Maybe I would have fitted in after all"

    Gazza

Hope Gazza doesn't listen to it, given it opens with an advert for Beer52.
  12. Ooof. Third poll out and this one has Starmer the clear "winner" FWIW. I think the initial Tory jubilation at the £2k and the YouGov snap poll is quickly collapsing
  13. Made even worse by the fact that as soon as one started answer, the other would start heckling them. It was crackers. Hopefully the future ones are slightly less shit. I actually think Sky's "leader forum" idea is better, where they'll get Starmer and Sunak on individually to answer questions from the audience. I also think Starmer will wipe the floor with Sunak in that format.
  14. We're going in August. We got a swim-up room, so I can just see me lying inside on the bed all day and occasionally walking out in a morph suit and dunking myself in the pool.
  15. Aye, and the format BTW. 45 seconds. Then you've got people screaming that Starmer won't tell anyone his policies. FORTY FIVE SECONDS BITCH! With some little cunt trying to interrupt you every time you open your gob. You try laying out policy. They would be much better off doing long form interviews where they actually get into policy and why it will work.
  16. Doesn't look so clever any more from the Tories. The Treasury now confirming the figure is bollocks and the govt had been warned not to claim it was produced by independent treasury experts, which was the phrase that lying cunt Sunak used.
  17. Interesting that the BBC are doing a feature fact checking the debate and are rubbishing the £2k thing. Coutinho is on now and the interviewer is challenging her on it.
  18. I'd say Starmer would take that. I'm just gonna do this from now on - not watch and check stuff like this. I might watch when Rayner's on cos I think she could genuinely wipe the floor with some people.
  19. Oof. We've booked Kos for next summer so I'm fully expecting forest fires next year.
  20. I think these papers would have done this even if he'd comprehensively shut it down.
