1. Thank you mate, the whole point is wondering how many change their spots depending on whether or not managers and/or players are playing for Newcastle or not.... Otherwise known as wearing rose tinted specs ..... 37446 Rose tinted contacts for me. I'm vain.
2. Simple question. According to you, he has suddenly became a "poisonous little shit" since Souness came in, and he left ? Why ? You said it, not me. Was he earlier or wasn't he ? If not, why ? Fact is, you are proving the point that appointing TErry Macdermott wasn't a waste of money, accepting the spin and character assasination of a player his boss wanted rid of. Not surprising though, they knew the ones with rose tinted specs would believe it, and there are quite a few out there 37115 I thought Bellamy was a good player before Souness arrived. I still think he's a good player now. I also thought he was suspect as a person and certainly not someone as I would want as a friend before Souness arrived - a nasty piece of work if you like. I still think that of him now. Is that ok with you? Or have I been brainwashed at some point without realising it? 37121 As i suspected, you are attempting to swerve from admitting it was totally wrong of him to be sold. It's what they do on the field that counts, you didn't call him a nasty piece of work and advocate his sale accordingly a year ago. What do you think of a manager who alienates players everywhere he goes, leaving clubs in a mess with unhappy players, and tries to break his own players leg on the training ground just because he nutmegs him ? 37126 I'm not trying to swerve from that at all because I think it was RIGHT for him to be sold. He had to go because he made his position at the club untenable. So never mind "As I suspected..." Mr. Poirot. 37131 So you were happy with the resultant performances and league position ? And you are happy to take the word and accept the judgement of a proven fuckwit when it comes to managing football teams and football players ? and why don't you answer this bit ? 37435 Why don't you prove it first? Or am I to just accept your obsessed rantings as fact?
3. Jesus Wept! And I mean that! 37428 Aye there was a few people from the company I worked for on those planes. They sent an email out with a little bit about each of the people killed and I remember there was a 21 year old lass just out of university on one - only been with the company a month and had been sent away on business. Worst was one of the partners was on a flight with his two year old son. Can't even begin to imagine what it must have been liked to have your two year old with you in that situation.
4. You hypocrit! 37406 You misspeller!
5. Southwest are like Easyjet in terms of no assigned seats etc. TBH though all US internal flights are pretty reasonable, even with the big carriers like United. I always used to fly United when I lived there.
6. This thread needs to be locked before he comes up with any more.
7. Never a truer word spoken.... 37279 JJ's written 17 8 page long articles on that advert alone.
8. Gemmill and the boyscouts 37267 Diamond Highlights.
9. Is the structure of my chromosomes? 37177 There isn't big enough font on here to get across how much of a NERD you are.
10. Australia. And there's nowt wrong with LA. It's a really nice place if you visit the nice parts of it. The US as a whole is a great place to visit though.
11. Lua Lua reportedly also stormed out of Fratton Park after being subbed on Saturday too. Looks like he's still got ideas well above his station too. Apologies to LM for not mentioning that he had ideas above his station on a public forum at an earlier juncture.

13. Them playing two hours last night could definitely help us out on Saturday. We might even manage to look the stronger team in the last half an hour of a match for once.

15. Phil. Is there any proof this is true ? Even if it is, doesn't it tell you something ? Why text Shearer, due to him feeling bitter about being pushed out of the club ? Does Shearer indeed have too much influence ? Is the club being run by a clique ? Both these scenarios are bad news, very bad news. Very worrying. 36890 LM, I find it incredible that even if you were to accept the texting story as true, you would still absolve Bellamy from any blame. Instead it's Shearer's fault for having too much influence and worrying evidence of the club being run by a clique. You seem to suggest it has nothing at all to do with Craig Bellamy being a poisonous little shit. 37104 As I said earlier Gemmil, why didn't you tell us that Bellamy was a "poisonous little shit" before Souness came........ of course, its because he was playing or Newcastle ! Rose tinted specs and all that ....... I predict that when Souness is sacked, you will still not admit you are/were wrong, and will make up some excuse for his crap performance 37111 So let me get this right then: in order for me to call Bellamy a poisonous little shit now, I have to have been saying it from the very minute he joined the club, if not before. Is that how it works?
16. They're proper bum chums like. NUFC's answer to Bert and Ernie. "Hey Al" "Errrrrr, yeah Mike"

18. After having spent most of the last couple of years talking about the potential of Jenas etc. there's a phone-in on Talksport right now, the subject of which is "Jermaine Jenas: what does he actually do that's any good?" Bit harsh on the lad, but it seems that underperforming for a London club is a bit less acceptable than underperforming for Newcastle. Out of the goldfish bowl and into the fire.
19. Aye just got an email from a bloke in our Houston office to say that he's leaving today and he won't be contactable for the next week or so. Fair enough like.
20. I see. Well I can only apologise if you did stick up for southern fans but I didn't know that and noone mentioned it until now. 36680 You didn't ask what any of us thought of southern based fans. You turned up with a pre-determined viewpoint and tried to superimpose it onto people on here. It doesn't fit. I'll admit there are those that have a go at Southern based fans, but I don't think you'll find them on here - they tend to be the moronic 15 year olds that are amongst the posters on other boards.
21. I wasn't here when that happened, so if you were sticking up for non-Geordie fans, then cheers. My sole purpose isn't to wind people up. I think the things I say get read differently than if someone else said them. I have no problem winding up the numbskulls on here, but it's not my intention to wind up the good guys. There is a different mentality on this forum which is quite stark compared with other forums. Internet attitude is a game and I know many people here would probably be quite decent if you met them. 36663 It was on the old board. And it was most of the people that post on here that stuck up for non-Geordie fans, including those with Southern accents and also those posting from abroad. Which is probably why your craic on here has annoyed people a bit.
