  1. Good luck with it all btw. I'm confused, has pulling forward the birtdate affected the childcare situation or was it always going to be like that but now it suddenly seems imminent?
  2. Apparently the Tories always have a much lower vote share with this lot, but still. Reform only 5 points behind. Single figures by November.
  3. Why do they do this job man? Just touring all the telly channels getting your arse handed to you and having to stand and smile sweetly.
  4. Aye I know the loss is £90m. But that's fucking massive and it includes the proceeds from the sale of Mason Mount.
  5. Derbyshire is quality. She won't last at the BBC if she keeps this up.
  6. Their problem is that the players that will give them the profit they need are the homegrown lads (Gallagher, Reece James, etc), who are all young and ambitious. They're not about to throw their careers away by going to Saudi. I mean I'm not saying they won't be able to pull some sort of rabbit out of the hat, but it won't be easy.
  7. It's clear from how snippy he gets in interviews, how much he's hating his life at the minute. Why stick it out for longer? It's entirely his decision at the end of the day. I really fucking hope it's May.
  8. I wonder if he's not just sick of it. They're completely out of ideas, he can't do an interview without getting rinsed, his personal reputation takes a hit every time he raises his head above the parapet, and ultimately he doesn't need ANY of it. If he calls an election now, they'll lose, but there's just as much evidence to suggest that the longer he waits, the worse the defeat will be. If I was him, I'd just say fuck it and pull the trigger now.
  9. There is no way they are still compliant. They probably need to make £100m+ of PROFIT from player sales by end of June.
  10. I have no idea why Hunt dropped that line about wanting to scrap NI altogether yesterday. It's undeliverable and he likely won't even be an MP after the next election. Decent for Labour attack lines though.
  11. Longstaff's main problem at the minute is that he's wrecked. I'm not saying he's not a limited player who will need to eventually be upgraded, but it's not that long ago that he was seen as a huge miss in the midfield, when he was out injured.
  12. Rap battle is the only way to settle this.
  13. Not the best, but nice to see that Labour has a social media game these days.
  14. Absolutely mint news, really pleased for you. I've been wondering how it was going but didn't want to bring it up cos I imagine it's the last thing you want to be talking about. Anyway, congratulations!
  15. Aye there'll be enough goodwill for a short period of time if he's brave enough to make the statement that the last government's actions were all about salting the earth and trying to make life more difficult for everyone under a Labour government. I think, by now, the public are ready to hear the argument that the only way to improve public services is if we can pay for it, and all the last lot were doing was trying to buy your vote with tax cuts. You showed them you were above that by voting for a change, and now we all need to get on with the job of fixing the mess we've been left, and that starts with reversing some of the stupid decisions we've all been subjected to.
  16. I would take Villa's involvement in races for any players with a pinch of salt given they've had to extend their accounting period to 13 months and are having to put out statements to provide scene-setting before their latest accounts are published.
