1. Probably true. Geographical-identity-wise, I reckon I see myself as "British" more than anything else - no doubt part and parcel of the whole "technically English but with a far greater affinity to Scotland than, say, Cornwall" thing - and I'm usually fairly quick to correct people over here who say "England" to refer to the whole country, but it's a bit of a shaky concept really... 96125 You should try America, where "London" is what they use to refer to the whole country. "So Scaaaat, when are you going back to London?" "I'm not." "Oh. So you're staying here for good." "Shut up."
2. It's just a bit of scare-mongering by some hippy. Nothing to worry about.
3. Yep, the Just 17 one seems far more plausible.
4. The board runs really slow at exactly 12 o clock every day. Anyone else noticed it? Can one of the supernerds explain this please? Take it away, Craig!
5. "Too many numbers?!" You're a sodding accountant! 96109 Aye but those are science numbers, not financial numbers.
6. I had it in my head you had your own business for some reason. Good luck anyway.
7. I can't read that. Too many numbers. Was he right?
8. Where's your source Rob, because tbh this sounds suprisingly like bull shit again! 96097 5m per 100 years does sound like crap like. It's much quicker than any of the reports I've ever heard on global warming. Maybe Rob's been taken in by a rising sea level email scam.
9. Tweedy's the only one I know the name of tbh. 96051 Nicola Cheryl Kimberley Nadine Sarah tbh (in that order) 96085 How do you even learn their names though? Do you read Just 17 or something? 96094 I must admit, remembering the names of 5 different people is a bit of a struggle like. EDIT: Although technically you didn't mean that, so I'll just answer yes. 96096 Aye, to remember them, you have to learn them in the first place, and I can't think of a scenario where I would be put in that position.

11. Kirkey? Drunk? I don't belieeeeeve it!
12. Are you of this opinion cos they once fined you? I'm in it for the fast-track opportunities to be a train driver where the real money is. The perks will come in handy, free train travel all over Europe for all the family. Conductors start on 18k but drivers are on double. 96043 Aye, fined me over £200 for being 5 minutes late! I hope if you get the job you will be a decent honest conductor and accept bribes. I always wanted to be a train driver, can't see it happening now. 96048 He was only doing his job, it wasn't his fault you were late was it? 96050 I'm still awaiting the outcome actually. I told them to fuck off over the full fine (in a polite way) and said we could come to an agreement or meet in court. They haven't written back since before christmas, I'm hoping their accountants are as incompetent as their rail staff. 96052 You should have introduced the conductor to the Vulcan Death Grip.
13. No chance. He can't afford any more time off with the WC coming up. His next injury will come some time in August or September.
14. Don't use the lift 96027 It'll be IN the lift if SLP's got his Lynx Effect going. Although if I was Beardsley, knowing what I know, I'd make him shower first.
15. I tell you what like, it's canny sad that all the lads know all the names of Girls Aloud. What's the matter with yous? Tweedy is excusable because she's local but the rest of them. Oh and they're all far too skinny.
16. Your lass sounds full of encouragement! Ah well, good luck with it anyway. I look forward to the Confessions of a Train Conductor threads that this career move could spawn.
17. In a seedy motel during your lunch hour?
18. Not a bad place to get put up by the council like. He sounds hilarious though.
19. It's all so predictable. And you know that if we finish the season strongly and do well next season, Souness will be given credit for "turning us around and laying new foundations". 95984 And rightly so.
20. Didn't catch the full story, but the SSN scrollbar thing was saying Owen expects to be playing again in a few weeks. Which is nice.
21. It's about £15 for a breakfast in the Marriott though. It's the same with all decent hotel chains, they charge mental prices for breakfast because they know most guests will just eat there regardless. A proper cooked breakfast every now and then is class though. I'm on the bagels with salmon and cream cheese at the mo - sooooooo continental.

Saturday.

so there is someone else, you bastid 95926 I refer the attractive young lady to the following thread as proof that she is the aforementioned lassy. http://www.toontastic.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4006 95928 okay aforementioned "loonytic" stands guilty as charged 95937 SLAVVA! I'll be there. What time are things starting with it being a later kick off? 3ish?
23. I predict that Rob will be holding court in this thread by lunchtime.
24. Cannot wait for home time.
