Just don't tell my boss. Anyway I've got a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales certificate that begs to differ.
-
Is he not late 30s? He lives the life of Riley tbh. Working from home AND it's sunny a lot of the time by the sound of things! Bastid.
-
I'll take credit for the manc-mag=Rasta wannabe thing. It's true though - first piss-up I went to I couldn't place his accent, but when he turned up at the next one with dreaded extensions it all fell into place. Weird bloke.
-
You meant "bun threads" there, didnt'cha, didnt'cha!! 142894 No.
-
Seriously though, pun threads are shit.
-
I agree. Rather Campbell than some other young lad whose confidence we destroy.
-
Yeah they are, anti-compete clauses prevent someone from joining a competitor, but I don't see how you could apply that to football seen as every club is effectively a competitor so it would be restriction of trade.

Unless Jordan can prove that there was contact from Charlton prior to Dowie leaving the club, and that he misrepresented his position to get around the compensation clause fully intending to take the job at Charlton, then I'm not sure he has a case. It might have been wise to leave it a bit longer before taking the job though.

Played the Sage on Saturday night.

Any source for that snakey, or should I file it with the Hiddink for the Toon stories?
-
I'm no legal expert, but I don't think Jordan's got a case. If I wanted to leave my job and I thought it would be easier to tell my boss some cobblers, I'm not doing anything illegal. It's up to Dowie what he tells Jordan.
-
Boogie Nights the first?
-
Simon Jordan has despatched his legal types to serve Dowie with a writ live at the press conference. Apparently there's hell on. What a prick.
-
Preferable to sitting behind Peasepud like.
-
I'd do her from behind. 142720 Righto Brent.

This thread is not designed for teenagers who wish to demonstrate that they've started drinking!
-
Do you find cans fit easier in your man bag too? 142716 Goes without saying, although to quench my thirst I sometimes need to pack two, whereas only one lesser-tasting bottle would suffice. Therein lies the conundrum.
-
No bother. I aim to please.
-
Let you off.

Oi man Alex, see my post. Glass bottles don't count!
-
Ah glass bottles are different. I was referring to the crappy placcer bottles. Definitely not as nice from them as it is from a can.
-
From a can tastes better for some reason. FACT!
