He'll do what he did as an MEP. Turn up for less than half the votes, but get on telly loads and clip up the odd question in Parliament for his social media. I don't know what the requirement is for minority parties to have representation on committees, but he could definitely be a grandstanding cunt in the manner of MTG if he finds his way on to any of them.

This stuff that's coming out this morning about setting up Mission Boards that Starmer will chair across all key objectives, is at least an attempt to do things differently, and evidence of someone with a plan to actually get things done. I'm hopeful. I know everyone is super cynical at the minute, but I've seen nothing to suggest that Starmer doesn't WANT to do the right thing. I hope/think that he's just being very careful not to promise to do these things before he knows the full extent of the challenge.

Best case scenario is Farage kills the Tories but loses in Clacton. That would end his involvement in mainstream politics in this country. He can fuck off and tongue Trump's hole for the rest of his life. Unlikely because Clacton appears to be 70% thick as fuck, but I can dream.

It does become a concern when he's everywhere on the airwaves. The bloke is a proven snake oil salesman, and he's very good at it. He'll start brainwashing the dopes from all age groups if he's given enough air time. I still think he's destined to only ever be a fringe character, but he's a fringe character that's given far too much exposure by the media in the name of ratings. They get him on to say mental shit, and then punish right thinking presenters for calling it out when he says mental shit.

I'm never a cunt to new arrivals FTR. I don't think it's right because I'm an absolutely tip top all around great bloke.

Mordaunt going out like a straight up lunatic.

Next series of STID we'll get introduced to this prick. He'll have put these seats in his living room in front of the telly.

It's one poll and it's a big outlier. YouGov changed their methodology last week and it's been hoying out odd results every since - old methodology would have had Labour's lead closer to 25, not 19. Could be that yougov have fucked their own polling results with their methodology change.

WE HAVE CROSSOVER!

Oh do they know? I was half wondering if we should delete this.

You don't get a Tory wipeout if you try to relitigate Brexit. And think of the time that Brexit burnt last time around. You'd get nothing else done and you'd lose the next election. It's just not an argument for the here and now.

That's not what I'm hearing on the doorstep.

Whole thread is worth a read, but these have done polling on whether the Conservatives deserve to lose every seat they have, and found that almost 50% of all voters agree or strongly agree with that statement. The bit above is focused in on trying to see at what level of Labour majority people start to get worried, and basically the answer is they more or less don't. They'd like a majority to stay under 400 but are also pretty relaxed about the Tories ending up with under 50 seats. Makes you think that their "supermajority" stuff is only gonna encourage people to vote for whoever can beat them.

Please watch to the end.

Lord Bethell on Sky News saying he can't work out from the Labour manifesto whether his son will be able to take his seat as a hereditary peer, is just everything you need to know about these cunts.

Do what the Mackems do and just don't wash them.

Obviously we'll know what actually happens 3 weeks tomorrow, but when you look back on all the shit: giving controversial figures ministerial jobs to troll people, the likes of that Brendan Clarke-Smith trolling the public on twitter, fucking Gullis screaming his head off in the Commons... Not to mention the genuine scandals. They've behaved like the kings of the world at times over the last 14 years, literally taking the piss out of ordinary people, never experiencing any consequence for any of it. It's so gratifying to see that the public is (if the polling holds and stays true on voting day) about to deliver a complete repudiation of all of it. They're properly gonna get what they deserve. It's mint.

It's OVER.

I highly doubt Howe would go. He'd talk to the FA I'm sure, cos he's professional and because it's a brilliant bargaining chip at his next contract negotiation, but seeing players once every few months would drive him mental, I'm sure.
