Who went to see Erasure in concert again? 175096 Under duress. Feel free to keep discussing musicals though, minceboy!
-
It's an HBO prison drama. I think "graphic" would be the best word to describe it. They don't hold back with anything. Really good storylines as well though. It's class, you won't be disappointed. Torrents for download.

Obviously this won't be on the scale of the Films you recently watched thread, but just wondering if people have any TV series recommendations, cos I tend to get them out on DVD from time to time I got Arrested Development out from Screenselect and reckon it's worth a watch if people want a decent American sitcom. It's no Curb Your Enthusiasm, but it's canny enough. I've only watched the first three episodes like. Oz is absolutely class and should be downloaded by everyone at once. Six Feet Under is superb although a bit of an obvious one. I got Murder One out recently having not watched it the first time around, but it seemed really dated so I didn't bother after the first disc. Any more for any more? You're not allowed to say 24 or Lost btw - too obvious.

The Jam did a good version of Heatwave.

I reckon this thing with the 4-5-1 is a clear sign that we're only getting one new striker in (if that!), and we'll be playing him up front by himself. Shola to be dropped.

Gay Forum required tbh.

spongebob, how up are you since you started playing this? Is it easy money (playing bad players), or do you have good/bad days? Loving the way the fish got schooled earlier on in the thread btw.
-
You're joking yeah? Or am I gonna have to play the typical-bird-doesn't-know-what-she's-talking-about card. 175067 Didnt have a lot of end product and often gave the ball away (running it out etc). Promising but below par for me. 175068 Shit? Stepover king? That was my main gripe. The bloke is quality and with a striker making runs for him things would be different. The reason he was running into blind alleys last night was partly because no one was giving him an outlet IMO.
-
Look William , if someone came in with an offer like £10m, I'd cash in no problem. So there!

A white Irishman?! I believe the correct term is pasty.

Rob recalls his days as a hooligan. You're like Lestat from Interview with a Vampire.

They wanna really really really wanna zig-a-zig aaaaaah in my experience. 174739 Do you have to dumb down everything you spaz? 174743 I have to to bring you all down to my level.

'I expect you to die' isn't it? 174699 My mate - the tit! - knew I was coming to visit him one day, and had been watching a Bond film. Any way, his doorbell was knackered so he puts a note on the door saying "Ahhhhhh, Mr. Robinson, I've been expecting you. Door's open." Anyway, I turn up, take the note down and shout up the stairs telling him he's a twat for putting the note up. He, pissing himself laughing, explains that 20 minutes before I got there there was a voice shouting up the stairs, so he goes to the top of the stairs expecting it to be me, only to get "Hello! Mr. Kirby! It's Mr. Robinson from British Gas. Just wanted to read your meter" The poor bloke must have nearly shat himself when he saw the psychic note.

Would really depend on the quality of the in-flight meal. 174622 There's a point; why don't terrorists just get cabin crew jobs and slip aconitum napellus into every meal? 174627 Why do they book flights departing from London? There can't be many airports that are more security conscious. Why not get on the plane in the Republic of Djibouti or something, and detonate over the UK? 174633 Think they're looking for the UK-US connection. Even a UK airport outside of London would make more sense tbh, although there probably aren't many that fly direct to the US.

Stereotyped call centres if anything. Which when you consider they're predominantly located in India is more simple fact than stereotype.

As far as I'm aware it's all India, which you wouldn't really associate with muslimism anyway, so I'm at a bit of a loss as to what the argument's even about. Still happy to stick my nose in, though. 174595 I doubt HF would be so ready to condemn me if I set Toucan Telecom on him. He'd be on here tomorrow doing silly impressions of their phone patter, I guarantee it. 174597 I'm not condeming. I said I can see it was nowt malicious. Canny funny impression in text form. 174600 The one from yesterday was better. I'll let you off then - give us your phone number though and next time they ring me I'm setting them on you, the little baskets. They're absolutely unflappable. No matter how many times you tell them you don't want anything to do with Toucan Telecom, it's "I will not take up two minutes of your time, Mr. Robinson sir."
-
Toucan Telecom tbh, the little bastards. "Mr. Robinson sir. A thousand apologies for ringing you every day sir. But are you absolutely certain I cannot take up one more minute of your time to explain to you the fantastic offer we have at Toucan Telecom" 174446 Someone says they'd like to see what these british muslim kids are up to in 20 years and you say they'll be working in Toucan Telecom. Unless you were randomly placing a reference to another thread in this one and I've foolishly confused it with the topic under discussion. 174596 Yeah I was. And you have. I was also making a joke like. In other words, I wasn't super-serious about the whole thing. I didn't think Dotbum was either when he said they'd all be working at HSBC.

I'll confess like, I never really got a lot of the fuss over Blade Runner - only seen it once when I was pretty young. Maybe I need to watch it again.

Textbook Rob - dismissive whilst missing the point. I'm aware Tebbit said that if you move to a country you should support them Rob. That's not what I'm saying though. If I moved to Australia I wouldn't suddenly stop supporting England. I'm saying it's sad that a lot of young Muslims don't feel British or English. 174488 Probably because they read threads like this and don't feel all that welcome tbh. 174494 Do you think I've said anything that is particularly out of order or offensive to Muslims like? 174498 No. Not you specifically. But I'm sure British muslims love being stereotyped as insular callcentre staff who mistreat their women and celebrate the deaths of other British civilians. As long as our society continues to be this welcoming why wouldn't they want to integrate more fully with us? 174506 Toucan Telecom call centre staff ARE Indian/Pakistani though. That's not a stereotype, it's a FACTISTANI. 174555 Not British then. 174563 Wouldn't have thought so what with the work being outsourced to India/Pakistan. Are you suggesting they're THAT desperate to work in a call centre that they'd move there like? Stereotyping tbh. 174567 No. See a couple of pages back. That's what you did tbh. 174575 I didn't. I made a joke based on a conversation that was carried on from yesterday. And as I've said, it's a FACT that Toucan Telecom workers are from India or Pakistan (I'll confess I don't know which) as that's where the call centre is based. I should know, the twats ring me all the time.

Signed up for this btw. Sandy/T-L, if you're still doing it, get your registrations in. I just rang them there and did it in two minutes. Doing it on the Saturday in the 11-12 slot.
