Harsh Times does look good. I like Christian Bale. Apart from Batman. That wasn't very good.

See you at one in future then Bobby. Aye alex, Trent sounds good.

Easily solved by talking to the player. Of course that would mean making an official approach for him, which I believe we have pencilled in for the 31st of August. 177911 No one knows what's going on behind the scenes. As I've said, if the window closes and we haven't got anyone, I'll be as crestfallen as anyone. But if we have to play the Wigan game with Shola and Luque rather than just buying a player for the sake of it, then so be it. 177915 If we'd made an official approach and had a bid accepted, we'd all know about it. Things are quiet because not much is happening. Why that is, I don't know, but I don't reckon we've had a bid accepted for any strikers. Inter aren't going to keep quiet and allow us to do a deal on the sly, as it's not in their interests.

I simply won't travel by bus.

Got my fingers burnt. Plus I just think we're incapable as a club of handling the whole concept of transfer windows. Until we work out how they work and how the different stages affect player's values etc., we'll repeat these mistakes again and again. You get in early, get what you want, and then you add finishing touches if someone becomes available. You do NOT do all your business in the last two weeks.

Transport links are good, Renton? My immediate thought was bus-tastic to get there from town, plus taxis from town would cost a mint. Too far out for my liking if you have any links with Newcastle.

Oh Christ, is this someone HTT likes to write pages of footballing cliches about. "Good touch, fantastic engine, natural born finisher, range of passing, great feet, aerial ability yadda yadda yadda, Hughie Gallagher". I look forward to that one. 177801 Fair play to HTT for this http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/....html#msg512952 and proof positive that he browses Toontastic first for a bit of decent football craic before he goes on N-O.

Not half as confusing as your post! WTF?! Take a deep breath and explain it again.

Bung it Gemmills way to help with his spaz feet and waist issues. 177845 Shut it, hairy shoulders - like a hobbit on a rack! Anyway, is that the Gazelle, spongebob? Did the bloke with the pony tail that was advertising it not put you off?
-
Dotbum, have you just changed the B of Bum to a capital or has it always been that way? Anyway, surely your faith in Roeder must be on the wane now. We're now onto at least the third of fourth list of players he was after. Maybe if we'd pulled our finger out when Defoe first got sent home by Sven........

I'm serious! He reckoned all the birds were into him.

Haway Renton, deliver a flat-footed shoeing to the lot of them.
-
Does anyone else remember Peter Simon in the NOTW claiming that he used to get loads of letters off filthy debauched housewives begging him to gunge them? Reckons he lived it up away from the cameras and was quite the sex symbol.

Is that cos you're so fat your feet sometimes object? 177616 Waiting for this. I've got flat feet you twunt! But excess weight probably doesn't help.... 177630 So've I mate. All the cool people have got them. 177643 Ah, that explains why you walk like a penguin 177800 I think you'll find it's called the Harlem Shuffle.

I do believe you still need to read Harry Potter after declaring we wouldn't sign Owen.. 177745 Is it not enough that we DID sign Owen, Catherine? Must you force me to read those.......children's things!? 177763 They're children's books, Scott. It'll take you no time at all. You don't want to be seen to be backtracking now, do you? 177786 I really don't mind. If I read them I won't be able to come over all superior every time someone mentions them. 177790 And gawd forbid, you may even enjoy them 177794 Pah! I'm out of my Meg and Mog stage!

Did the sign say women weren't allowed to play snooker, or women can't play snooker. One is unfair, the other is a fact.

According to the Journal we're in for Collins John. I think he's alright but I can't put up with any more whingy whining Welsh shit from that knobend Chris Coleman.

Wheelie Bins are ok, if you get to know them
Gemmill replied to bobbyshinton's topic in General Chat
That was my mistake. I'm tempted to steal my last one back cos it's different to all the other ones. I fear the bloke who nicked it might pan my head in though. -
My immediate thought here is not whether it's a righteous cause or not, but rather how will he get the tent pegs in?
