Must've been that book you read.

Piggy? 178677 Clearly Roger; Kill the cat, spill it's blood etc. 178679 When my English teacher used to read out Lord of the Flies he used to give Piggys voice a speech impedement. Cock. 178770 I'll never forget my first English lesson in seniors. We had this big gay bloke teaching us and we were doing Tom Sawyer. Anyway, he says he'll start the reading and we're all sitting looking at the book waiting for the first line when all of a sudden, in a high-pitched Aunt Polly voice, complete with American accent, he blurts out: "Tom! Tom! Where IS that boy?" I couldn't fucking MOVE for giggling.

Already a thread on it supposedly.

That Valencia lad looked a good player in the WC. Could cause us some problems.

I agree with that to a certain extent - some of the idiots yesterday moaning that Roeder didn't map out the next two weeks in terms of who would sign when etc was daft. But I don't think it's unreasonable for us to have expected some movement on signings by now. Roeder admitted himself that we are not as far on as he would have hoped by this stage of the window. 178673 Well, no, I agree that I would have expected a bit more in terms of inbound transfer activity. But I personally don't think it's through lack of trying, so I can't really be too judgemental. 178757 I don't think it's through lack of trying, but you can see from what Roeder said yesterday, namely "....but with the transfer window coming to a close at the end of August, a decision or two is going to have to be made very quickly." that we haven't really made any firm bids for anyone. I would have hoped the "decision or two" would have been reached by this stage. If we make a decision and can't convince the player to come here, we're screwed.

He still cost £11 million though. 178753 Martins and Kuyt will likely cost us £10m each. And Berbatov has had a full, goal-scoring pre-season with his team mates.

Never been. I'm 100% sure I wouldn't like it though.

I used to skateboard between the ages of about 12-15. I had a Powell Peralta Tony Hawk deck, indie trucks, Powell streetstyle wheels. I was THE BOMB.

A deal that was sealed before the World Cup. I'm glad we didn't get involved in any silly business like that.

I think he'll point out he never said the threat was overrated at this point, rather he alluded to the possibility. 178725 Ahhh, the mock indignation phase. That means this thread is almost at an end.
-
Given that bombs on planes are overrated threats, I wonder if Rob would like to share with us what threats we should be taking seriously. Perhaps he could throw in some underrated threats while he's at it.

Pandora, youtube and MySpace are the only three I've visited. MySpace is shit, youtube and Pandora are quality.

Parky's found a site he can use the quote function on!

Nice to see the signed Shearer shirt will be safe!! I'd save the cats. Anything else can be replaced. 178649 Cats can be replaced.

I liked City Slickers like. RIP. 57 man, far too young.

In response to the question, I'm not sure. I'm shit for actually checking how much I'm paying for something. I normally just sign/type in pin without really paying attention. What a wanker I am too. -
They're not at your seat mate. They're handed out at the turnstile. The giant mong probably stood on the bloke handing them out, crushing him underfoot.

Then again if it is true that he said those things about us then he might favour us more, plus he's knows he's guarantied to start most games for us. I know a lot of players say stuff like this just to get other clubs interested, but what you normally hear instead of what Kuyt has said is that they want to move to the Premiership and play for a big club. Not I want to be the new Shearer and bet he new hero of our supporters wearing the number nine shirt (whether that’s true or not) 178596 Was that stuff not the made-up quotes though? I'm completely confused now as to what was made up and what wasn't.

Car keys (so I can get to my mam's!) Wallet Laptop It's cheap enough to get a new mobile, so I'm not sure how that's an essential to some folk.

Is that Daily Star story based on the quotes that someone made up the other day which were suddenly all over the internet? I suspect so. The only way he's snubbing Liverpool for us is if we're offering him double the wage tbh.
