Sounds like you were too busy throwing your spear up Achilles tbh.
-
I'm not one of the part Irish types on here! That's Rentboy you're thinking of.
-
Wasn't sure who he was, so looked on Wikipedia. Turns out Achilles' heel was the least of his concerns.
-
You're not THAT thick, tbf.

I've spotted a few kids round North Shields recently with Chelsea shirts on. You would NEVER have seen that as recently as 2 years ago. Sad little twats.

Are you joking, man? Roy Keane personally comes around and squeaks us to death if he hears we've shown any emotions other than hate and anger. I'd say I think the English are soft (stiff upper lip quivering tbh), but then I think most blokes today are a bit fucked like that, nothing wrong with crying, but not for an "emotional porn" flick as some have mentioned on here! The last time I was close at a movie was The Pianist, the scene where he gets saved from the train and his family is pulling away, the same bit in the book got me. I actually tried to draw it out reading the book but couldn't, it's been that long I think I'm broken. The stupid thing is I'll be ridiculed on here for not being soft as shite. I've nothing to cry about, and I'm not going to bother until I do. 179643 I don't agree with the English thing like. I honestly would have said the Irish were the more weepy types (you lot write poems and appreciate the countryside and stuff). Maybe that's why they made you move to France??

catmag is a full-on RADGEPACKET after a few drinks though. Woe betide anyone who accidentally knocks her as they're trying to squeeze past in a busy pub.

But thats the point !!! They are all from the North East ......oh I give up... 179616 Look, if you know these blokes, have a word and tell them that a panel of their betters is advising them on a name change. 179621 can you point me in the direction of the panel of thier betters then purlease... 179623 You're addressing the chair, my dear. 179624 oops I forgot I was adressing the patron saint of musicians....so what would Sir and his panel suggest and I will pass the message on the mora night... 179628 NU2. Make it so.

Proper man. FACT! Puts the rest of you Spielberg wet dreams in perspective. 179620 You're Irish man! Well-renowned for being soft crying nancy-boys! I see you've revealed nothing so far in this thread for fear of ridicule.

He'll be fatter than Shepherd by the end of the season tbh. I can just see him stood in the dugout like a little baldy barrel.
-
NU2 would have been better like. NEU2 looks like a postcode.
-
Ahhh, as in New2. Maybe.

At least when we were finishing 14th/13th in the table we had a player like Shearer always to count on who attracted players to come here to play in the same team as him keeping our dream alive to be back in th top flight. It was essential to get someone of the same caliber and Kuyt looked to be that kind of player we needed to replace him. Now though, what option do we have? We're fucked basically. All we can do is hope that Dyer stays fit and Shola is consistent so we can use them up front. I think we had more of a chance at signing Kuyt than that happening this season...! 179594 I've been saying for a while that my big fear when Shearer retired was that we would become one of those clubs like a Villa where every summer they're looking for their next striker because the last one couldn't cut it. And every summer they buy another donkey, the fans get their hopes up.....and he turns out to be turd. We've been spoilt for years with Shearer, taking it for granted that we'd always have this bloke up front who would score pretty much every chance he got and now we're just another football team who has to go back to taking chances on people that may or may not make it. It's Martins or bust for us now surely, unless we bite the bullet and get someone like that Nugent lad in. Whether either of them are good enough is anyone's guess. We've spent so long scouting Kuyt he HAS to have been our first choice of what's left. Now he's gone, I really don't know what Roeder's gonna do.
-
Shola will NEVER win over a lot of our support now. Doesn't matter if he scores, if his first touch from the restart is poor, people will be calling him a useless prick. I don't think he's good enough, but it's sad that he'll never get any credit from some people.
-
What's that got to do with tennis like? 179571 This thread was a hive of activity so I thought I'd break it here.
-
Ladies, just so you know....Kuyt to Liverpool is now on the Liverpool official site, complete with quotes from him and the Feyenoord chairman.
-
Right, NOW I am officially allowed to be pissed off that we've clarted about scouting him right up to the point he's joined another club. Shambles tbh.
-
I heard you refused to take the crash helmet off for the picture so they couldn't run the story.
-
Cheers, will give it a read. If anyone sat next to me shat themselves, the plane crashing would be the least of their concerns. I'd leather the shite out of them all the way down.
-
he might, but when I sing his praises I forget he's an anti English twat 179543 He's a proud Scotsman. Nowt wrong with that. I don't really care what he thinks about England - most English-Scottish stuff can be put down to friendly banter, but a lot of times I think there's justification in any contempt the Scots may have for the English.
-
I just thought Henman never looked like a winner. Murray does, in the same way Hewitt does. He looks a battler.
