1. My football opinions are usually pretty sensible, I'm not talking out me arse, you know! You, on the other hand, seem to be having a psychotic episode this pre-season. 185042 It's like when you scared aimaad off, his spirit passed into you or something.
2. Woah man! I'm not a blind closet Luque-lover, I'm just trying to look at things objectively. Luque went missing quite a bit last night and at times, was not doing the job he should have been doing. It might not be his best position, but you should do the best job you can in the position you are asked to play in. Luque was guilty of not doing that last night - at least not for the full 90. Gol - I'm not sure how to take your 'not the worst post' comment? 185018 Well it was a good post. I would have been more positive, but I'm a bit scared of Gemmill and Alex. 185032 Us two mongs? You are joking aren't you? 185044 Speak for yourself, he has every reason to fear me.
3. He's trying. 184936 tbh.
4. Liverpool are welcome to him and his wages tbh. He won't play 15 games for them all season. Waste of time, space and medication.
5. Good effort. I came up with something to the tune of the Flipper themetune at the match last night, but on reflection, it was shit.
6. 1. I am wishing Thompson good luck in his driving test today.
7. Bet Gullit's sphincter went wild when his door came crashing in and there stood 6 foot 4 inches of wild-eyed neanderthal Scotsman. Jesus that sounds like Mills and Boon on a re-read.
8. Ok. And then I'll post payment demands up on here. I can sense that you're too polite.
9. Gol, I reckon if you let us know the cost you'd get a few to donate. Haway, spill the beans.

How was the holiday?
11. Renton did have a black T-shirt on on Saturday like. In fact he looked a bit like Harry Enfield now I come to think of it.
12. How much? 184919 PM me too. Or stick the details up on here and I'm sure we can work something out. I'll donate via that paypal thing. If a few of us club together is it a low enough sum that we can sort it out between us?
13. Canny balls on the lad to take on the number 9 at the age of 21 like. I haven't seen his balls btw.
14. Wahey first new number 9 in a decade. Nice one.
15. Can't really argue with that, seeing as I use that argument all the time! I'm saying I'd take someone's hand off for 5m, and get rid, but we've a week until the window closes and Luque, Oba, Shola to pick from. Using first touch as an example, all I'm really saying, is that Luque was suffering from confidence and effort problems, now it's just confidence, in the right position, alongside Oba, he might make a better partner than Shola, who suffers from a talent problem. I like Shola, I really want him to make it, but this pre-season I saw too many things I couldn't dismiss, I agree he's ahead of Luque in the pecking order at the moment, but only just. 184918 Luque is still suffering from effort problems, you mong! Do I have to slap your hands and face to get this through to you?! On the evidence I've seen of Luque in a Newcastle shirt, Shola is the more talented player. I know Luque was supposed to be class at Depor, but going on what I've seen, I would have to say Shola beats him hands down. Maybe more talented is wrong, but more effective definitely.
16. If he maintains current form, he's all but made it already - there are definitely better players out there, and I'd love to have them here, but I'm no longer going into matches thinking "Shit, Shola's up front". Shola offers something to the team nowadays. He's finally worked out that he's a big lad and can boss defenders and his touch is improving, as is his finishing. His confidence is sky high as well which is helping. Not sure how you can compare Shola and Luque and say they have a similar chance of success tbh. I'd put Luque's at around 5%. Shola already is a marginal success. Luque is an unmitigated failure. 184906 Check my avatar tbh 184911 Do you reckon or is it tongue in cheek. If he maintains this form I can see him maybe getting a call-up to the squad for a friendly. I'm not for a minute suggesting he's international class, but if Andy Johnson and the like can get call-ups........
17. Agreed, and I want Gravesen. 184901 Me three. 184902 Aye I'd go along with that. Give him the £2m as a signing on loyalty bonus or something if that's what it takes to keep him. Get him on 5 years or something though cos we can't afford to be doing stuff like this every 3 years with him.

19. The Zog is a ledge in the making and Isegrim is right - give him a blank sheet of paper and tell him to write down his terms and sign it. We can't afford to lose the lad for nowt at the end of the season. I'd even give up a £775k payment to his agent for the pleasure of renegotiating his contract.
20. BumDot, Shola looks twice the player Luque is. If it wasn't for injuries I'd be happy enough going into the rest of the season with an Oba-Shola front pairing. We need another striker in, but I wouldn't be too disappointed with those two up front.
21. Said it elsewhere, but Solano is now third choice for the right wing berth IMO. He should be anyway.
22. That must make the players on the pitch feel GREAT © 184862 I'm pretty certain they won't be that bothered. They know what Shearer meant/means to the fans. 184863 If I was Shola playing up front and I heard the fans chanting for Shearer, I'd be pretty disheartened tbh. It would certainly put doubts in my mind as to whether it was just in tribute to Shearer or a sideswipe at me.
23. BumBot was blatantly scared of the stirrings in his loins when Adebisi was beasting people.
24. Aye the Shearer chanting continues unfortunately. What is it with these morons?
