I would play N'Zogbia there until Babayaro and Bernard are back fit. He shouldn't be playing there, but he can do a better job than Ramage - has pace to get himself out of any bother that his lack of defensive ability might get him into, and would do a good job overlapping on the wing. If they have even a half decent right winger, we could be in bother.

Because at that stage we had faith in the other list. The one he was telling us was packed with players that we were in pole position to sign. We believed that he wasn't blowing smoke up our collective arses with all his talk of the 5 or 6 players he knew he needed to sign. Now we pretty much know he didn't know what he was talking about. Or he knew what he was talking about but wasn't good enough to get the job done and either bring in the players he initially identified, or identify alternatives if those deals didn't pan out. Now a lot of people are pretty much sick of listening to him.

No, it's more a case of fans who got used to it with Souness only looking for the things that Roeder says that they can put their own negative spin on and ignoring everything else he says. Head in the sand.
