Aye he was a bit too pleasant about them for my liking. Especially after the reaction he got for simply celebrating a win ffs - the singing and ludicrously angry idiots trying to batter him. Thick cockney arseholes. He should have said "I did nothing wrong and can't understand the reaction. I guess they don't like their old manager coming back and getting one over on them. That's life."

Halfpenny. We really need some clues tbh. I'm assuming it's a local celeb, or not? Kathy Secker. -

Thought Shola had a good game yesterday. He's outmuscling defenders and staying on his feet in a way that we haven't really seen from him much before this season. I think it's really made a difference to him being the big man up front since Shearer's gone. The bloke on the radio was saying that he looks like he's been in the gym all summer bulking up because he's much bigger than he looked last season. Good on him.

Parker was really lucky not to be sent off btw. It's all well and good Roeder saying that Rob Styles looks at situations rather than isolated incidents, and praising him for his performance, but if that had been Lee Bowyer going into those challenges, he would have been off and he would have deserved it. He's going to need to temper things a bit or he'll be picking up a few suspensions this season.

I would drop Emre and play Butt on Wednesday. I think if we don't that we'll just get steamrollered by Liverpool.
-
So was it just coincidence that without braindead Bramble's longball buffoonery to drag us down, we played some nice football on the deck and were able to keep a hold of the ball a lot better yesterday? I only saw the 50 minutes or so of highlights on Football First, but it seemed to make a big difference to me.
-
I don't think I would have been able to lay it down in a tournament. I don't play cash games enough to know how I would have reacted to a $26 all-in bet with trip Aces and a king kicker. Seems to me that it's maybe just one of those unfortunate hands that you're destined to lose a canny bit of money on.
-
I'm gonna watch it on Football First cos you're right, it'll probably be 2 minutes of highlights on MOTD2.
-
What were they chanting about brain tumours? I heard them chanting "You're the reason we went down" and "Stand up if you hate Roeder". Bitter cockney arseholes. Good on Roeder for milking it today tbh. I would have been giving the crowd massive chinny reck-ons if I'd been him. "JIMMY FUCKING HILL!!"

Ok, as an accountant, I don't like the amount of debt we're carrying. As a fan I don't like the paper thin squad we've got, and wonder how much more debt we'll have to get ourselves into to sort it out. We are so unprofessionally run, it's untrue - that's clear to me as an accountant, as a fan, and as an intelligent person. You have to wonder why you're oblivious to it. I listened to Bill Kenwright on the radio today - an intelligent man who loves his club and makes decisions in the best interest of his club. He's only been chairman one and a half years and already looks to know the job better than Shepherd. -
Back playing in goal in 3-4 weeks after breaking ribs? Is that feasible?

Only a complete idiot, would say that ALL these players I list are "panic buys", "pre transfre deadline transfers" and "lack planning" and only bigger idiots would agree with it. And yes, the breathtaking idiocy of it is both sad and funny at the same time. And only a complete moron would be unable to see the massive backward steps we are taking under Freddy Shepherd. Not only are other teams improving, but we are getting worse, exacerbating our relative decline. Only an idiot could fail to see this, and only an idiot could fail to spot the cause - the eminently unprofessional man in charge of the club. Where he ranks alongside previous chairmen is utterly irrelevant. His performance is unacceptable and only you can't see it. Gemmil - you were utterly and completely wrong about Souness, and you are again here. Being 5th in the country over a decade is only done on merit. If however, you think it isn't and you aren't happy, give up your ticket and force change. I only hope their replacements will be among the top 4. And I am pleased you are so confident such a thing would be easy, because I can't think of anyone who has shown themselves to be prepared and willing to come in and do better lurking in the backround. BTW - the reason for the lack of money ie only 3 or 4 clubs have spent more than us ??? is because they threw money at the man YOU backed. EDIT. BTW - we are "only" 5th because we haven't appointed a manager as good as Keegan, but YOU, as an accountant, aren't suggesting that improving the clubs stadium capacity and building a new state of the art training complex, aren't "going backwards" I hope Yeah yeah, 5th best in the country, blah blah. Whatever. WE ARE GOING BACKWARDS FAST AND HAVE BEEN SINCE ROBSON LEFT YOU BLIND MONG. As I've said umpteen times, you blame me for Souness and me for Souness being backed, yet Shepherd gets off Scot free. What an idiot that makes you look. -
He'll be alreet man. Knowing Steve Harper's luck, he'll be fit again for Liverpool. It does sound worrying, but they've got him to hospital, and he's being looked after now so I'm sure they'll have worked out whatever's wrong with him. I wouldn't want to meet Marlon Harewood at speed though - brave goalkeeping from Shay.

MARTINS! Gettin!
-
Aye, according to the commentators on Magic, he reckons he can't see how it could have been a tactical switch because Tevez looked threatening in the first half. With any luck Tevez has been acting himself again and will ruin himself at West Ham too. DUFF SCORES!
-
Martins misses a great, great chance. One on one with the keeper.
-
Tevez instantly in Ramage's back pocket.

LM, I don't know what you keep laughing about. You look like an idiot that can't come to terms with reality. -
Nowhere near good enough for the Premiership, but I'm pleased he's doing well and has found himself a proper football career at the right level.
-
4 hours. Do you get many breaks in all that? Good effort btw.
-
Until fairly recently, everyone rated him as shit, so I'm not sure how that works. He looks a class player to me.

Does Michael Owen write with his foot like? Keane is a moron.
