  1. Farepak or something. It's on the BBC National News on now. Some poor old grandma who's been saving for all of her family is on. Canny shit like.
  2. Iceland was expensive to visit last year, but then again, as long as you aren't staying too long or intend to be out on the piss the entire time, the cost isn't so great. You were too busy roasting puffins in your hotel room by all accounts.
  3. Its either New York or Moscow for 5 days next month.... then Vegas-San Fran in Feb/Mar. Just read it is 2 degrees in Moscow at the min! Go to New York man. It's so good they named it twice.
  4. I thought you were going to Vegas anyway? Sack this shit off and get yourself to America man.
  5. Happy birthday. Mork calling Orson. Come in Orson. Janu Janu.
  6. Cold to the touch, baby!
  7. Hyperion is the consolidation system we use at work. Accounting references are way cooler than literary ones.
  8. Someone just made the point on NO that the backroom staff that we all derided under Souness - Saunders, etc. is actually better than the one we've got now. Hard to argue with it. The people that were WAY down the pecking order in that set up are now assistant manager and reserve team coach, and the people with the qualifications have been sacked. That's progress for you, NUFC style.
  9. It's like listening to the chatter on a Gay Pride march.
  10. You can't expect him to get punished for it. It's up to the player to just not be an arsehole. Unfortunately not being an arsehole isn't in Diouf's makeup.
  11. It does. I know it does. But if you've already got a bad rating, the effect of a knockback will be minimal. My point is that it doesn't hurt (much) to try.
  12. Debt is the TRUE spirit of Christmas!
  13. Just because you didn't get the one in the article title Of course I don't get it! I'm STRAIGHT! Was reading books officially gay when you recommended 'In Cold Blood' to me like? In Cold Blood isn't a book, it's a TRUE STORY. and a FILM. The book is class. But I don't make SUPERGAY references to it on football forums. Have you read it yet, Colby?
  14. I was taking her claims of being a credit risk not entirely seriously. Still worth applying though, if you're already a credit risk it's not gonna hurt your rating to have a knockback on your record.
  15. Halifax's Halifax One card has 0% interest on purchases for the first 12 months. Gives you almost til next Christmas to pay it back before they start charging you.
  16. Don't roll your eyes at me, beehatch! Don't go down that route. There are plenty reputable credit card companies with zero interest rate offers on purchases for the first 6 to 9 months. Try one of them.
  17. Is that to help you with your problem?
  18. I do it this way to ensure that I don't dip into the cash during the year. I get the vouchers for Boots , for the female members of the family, and Choice ones which can be spent in sports shops and HMV etc for the usual playstation games , dvd's, football/rugby kits......I am now £550 down and no spare cash I will just have to utlilse my creative talents and go back to the old fashioned days of making the presents " Look at this lovely scarf I have knitted you Mam and all from an old jumper and two twigs" !! Ah right, so it's discounted gift vouchers, rather than money-off vouchers. I see, I think. £550 is a lot of money to just lose and it leaves you in the shit. Just explain it though, everyone will understand. Mind, if you were related to me and told me that, I'd be getting you fuck all in return.
  19. Never heard of it, although I'd sooner bray on the wall and then their door to tell them to pack it in than keep a book on them. Unless you've already approached them without success, that is. We used to have some knobs that would do this when I was about 15. If they made a racket, I would get up early the next morning, wait until my mam had gone to work, turn the speakers on my stereo so they were pressed right up against the wall and play music at full blast on repeat. Let them be awake through their hangovers. What a fucking rebel I was.
  20. Amusing as that is, do you have any evidence to back it up? What, like having actually seen it you mean? Ironic coming from you Renton basically looking for an argument wherever he can get it. A lad I know works for a big security company and they kitted out Shepherd's house. He worked on the job and was shown round the day they arrived by Shepherd who announced that he "couldn't cope with the stairs at his age, so they'd have to use the lift."
  21. That's awful, sorry to hear that. How does the voucher scheme work though, is it really better than just saving cash in a savings account or whatever?
