It wasnt a dig, honest . Regardless of results you could argue that Daglish wasnt given sufficient time to do his rebuilding job. Its a fact he didnt get as much as Souness, why not? We didnt win less games under Daglish. His popularity? Why was he unpopular? I know its from wikipedia... "However, Dalglish's cautious brand of football proved unpopular with supporters used to Newcastle's previous swashbuckling style; more importantly this careful style was not producing results. Several unsuccessful transfer deals along with a poor start to the 1998-1999 season led to Dalglish being sacked" You've got to admit that the brand of football we played under Daglish was a factor. Come on dont be pigheaded That lads pretty sound actually, loves his football but he has the attitude that he watches football to be entertained not just to see his team pick up points, I dont think he's alone in that. Haway, you can't defeat me with Wikipedia. The brand of football COUPLED WITH THE FACT WE WERE LOSING GAMES is what turned people off to Dalglish. If we'd been winning, nobody would have cared. By the way, I felt at the time that we got rid of Dalglish too soon. Having said that, I don't think he would have gone on to be a success, but he certainly wasn't given the time to prove that right or wrong.

Amazing to think some people STILL haven't gotten over an event that happened 19 months ago. Ok let me rephrase it for you and your sensitive eyes. I hate Nicky Butt, absolutely loath him after that cup semi-final a time when the team really needed to stand up after the way they lay down in the UEFA Cup semi-final, also for his complete lack of heart that whole season, the way he ran to one of his ex-manic wanker mates to escape the responsibility of his lask of commitment to a team willing to pay his over inflated wage and how once under Steve Bruce's wing he did nothing on the pitch but in the media sprouted how he'd love to get away from Newcastle and stay with Brum because they were such a good club, only for him to then land back on our door step and expect a pat on the back and forgiveness but at half time when Emre replaced him and Parker was left on the pitch, I was amazed. When Butt gave the ball up, he chased it down and won back possession, when Parker gave it away he just jogged after the opposition player. That make you feel better? Bet you also forgive Dyer/Bowyer for all their sins and shame they have brought to the club? And you just can't wait until Dyer is back because it's going to be "like a new signing." Be nice if some people actually had convictions instead of moaning one moment and cheering out their arse for the exact same player moments later. By the way I'm thinking that Butt and Emre are our best combination in the centre at the moment but it still doesn't mean I have to like the guy. Nicky Butt was guilty of a non-performance in the semi final. He then walked off the pitch without cheering the fans, probably because he's not used to playing in front of such a precious bunch that need THEIR performance in the stands to be applauded. He's used to playing in front of fans that you reward with trophies, not applause. The hugging Alex Ferguson bit was ill-advised, but it was hardly evidence that he was a double agent or anything. This season he has looked a decent enough player for us, and I would be starting him in games, but NOT alongside Parker, at home, against relegation candidates. Dyer has done very little wrong other than be injured and get paid too much. I can't understand why folk hate him for that. As you know I disagree with you about Butt but your welcome to your opinion. As for Dyer, what's he done wrong apart from being injured all the time? How long have you got? Being instrumental in the downfall of Robson might be a good place to start. Robson was instrumental in his own downfall tbh. He let them get away with murder and they played on it. Come on then, what's he done? I'll let you know in advance though that I'm not accepting crashing his car as crime of the century. His twattish behaviour when he's on the lash is legendary. You can choose to ignore this if you like, but I choose not to. Plus he has to be the most overpaid and over-rated player in our history. I can forgive good players to an extent, but the money we have pissed up the wall on Dyer beggars belief. For me, Dyer is the epitome of everything that is wrong with the modern day footballer, he hasn't got a professional bone in his body. Being overpaid and over-rated are both out of his control. EVERYONE behaves like a twat when drunk man ffs. He's not my favourite person in the world but he gets far too much stick for doing not that much wrong IMO.

Besides pissing in the street and getting caught - You don't seriously think that's a good reason to hate the bloke, do you? fighting with Bowyer on the pitch (Scotty you know it takes at least two to fuck or fight, though I'm not sure if you've experienced the first) and don't doubt he wasn't part of the problem - Bowyer was 100% the aggressor there. Ill-advised by Dyer to react to whatever Bowyer said to him, but it was Bowyer throwing punches. besides throwing the captain's armband to the ground - I'll give you that one, but that's the only thing in your list of crimes that really requires responding to. besides burning currency in front of people to show how well the club over pays him - I've never seen him do that, and I doubt you have either. Sounds like bullshit to me. besides the fact that there are other issues to his injuries and that is why he doesn't play many games for us - Errrr, you have absolutely NOTHING to back that claim up. besides he has been a young gun for 6 years plus and done nowt accept put his hand out for his handsome wage - He's spent a lot of that time injured. If you genuinely can't see the difference he makes when he plays, you've got problems. Need I go on? Well....yeah, if you want to come up with something that's actually worth responding to. All you've got in the above is the armband thing. The rest of it is either supposition, rumour, or basically nothing to get excited about.

Having a piss in the street isn't going to be accepted either.

By the way, Roeder sounds pathetic the way he's defending Shepherd in that interview. He's right, the results are his fault, but it sounds to me more like he's defending Shepherd from a "please don't sack me" point of view than anything else. I wouldn't give the fat twat the satisfaction tbh.

Bloke at work reckons it all happened in front of him, and Parker was a disgrace. He was so incensed by it that he ended up in the anti-Shepherd gathering. I'm not sure if he'd gone around there with an anti-Parker protest in his mind and got side-tracked.

He's completely wrong actually. He's talking bollocks if its in reference to Souness but theres some truth in it when it comes to Daglish. The main reason people tired of Dalglish is not because we weren't playing exciting football, it's because we weren't winning games. well we'll disagree then. Like I said theres some truth in it. He certainly didnt get the time in the job that you were so eager to allow Souness and you could argue that he was rebuilding the team to be more solid. Imo the brand of football we produced was definitely a factor. A lad at work actually said he wasnt going to renew his season ticket to watch that boring shite. The fact he came directly after Keegan didnt help his cause either. He didn't get the time in the job because we were losing games. Not because we were playing boring football. Nice dig about Souness though. Sounds like that lad at work was a twat, but on a sample size of ONE, you'll have to forgive me for not taking your statistics that seriously.

Aye, I'm thinking the same thing myself. Especially when the twat wasn't even in attendance at the last couple of home games.

I'm disappointed in Hansen tbh cos I quite like the bloke, and I think in analysing a particular game or some defending, he knows his stuff. Unfortunately he knows nothing about Newcastle United or its fans, and it shines through in spectacular fashion in that piece.

I never made it at all post-match. Went to see Jimmy Carr though which served to cheer me up. There were a load of thick charvers in who thought they had what it takes to heckle. He absolutely destroyed them. Especially when one of them claimed that he'd just "ripped him to pieces." Eventually Carr, having laid into this lad and telling him what he'd done to his mother for about 5 minutes, goes "I tell you what, let's call it a draw. In which I fucked your mum."

Roeder talking in the third person. Clearly going mental tbh. By the way, if I was a player and the chairman turned up to "read the riot act" today with a fresh fucking tan that he'd just picked up in Mallorca, I'd be inclined to tell him to fuck right off.
-
Aye I want to see this one.
-
if true, this is fucking ridiculous, and the performance on Saturday lies mostly at Shepherds feet. Typical of the man and yet more proof, he's more a fan of cash, than Football Ah it's true. Sheffield United offered to play on Sunday but we declined.

He's completely wrong actually.

Can you not make the match on New Year's Day like, Cath?
-
Not a fan of bonfire night, I have to say. Drives people's pets round the twist and a lot of it is just an excuse for charver wankers to get up to no good. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just the one night, but they've been on sale for fucking ages and they'll be letting them off for a good week yet. Bah humbug to it all!
-
Ignore them! Insensitive bastids. Hope you're feeling better soon petal - sounds nasty Thanks Cath...I have taken some Paramol and have had an ice pack on my nose but still look like Shreks younger sister But Princess Fiona - you are beeeeeeyootiful! now that cheered me up !! get a room Get a fucking sense of humour you miserable twat! The Fish got BOLLOCKED!
-
More of a leg man, Rob? Can you try and keep this one on topic please!
-
No wonder his team are such shocking losers when he reacts like that to another manager celebrating a goal.
-
Oh dear. The drink problem is now manifesting itself in the form of physical wounds. Get help!

Because we all know that you were trying to impress people that you were on the phone to a girl in the middle of the night. Because you like to tell us how you talk to girls all the fucking time. You freak.
