  1. Judge's comments when dealing with one of the rioters recently. Oof.
  2. I want to know what Wassy thinks.
  3. We've Steve Parrished Charlotte FC.
  4. Pelosi was interviewed by Goodall and Sopel on yesterday's news agents, and when asked about Truss saying the world would be safer if Trump won in November, her answer was "I'd say she doesn't know what she's talking about. Again. And the same for Boris Johnson."
  5. Nah, they left because they didn't have jobs and were basically just two minority shareholders getting in the way of the people that had been appointed. They'll have been picking a decent wage up for their work, and you can't keep paying them once you've actually employed the people to do those roles. Also, they could dissent all they liked, but their 10% would have got them nowhere.
  6. "That's not funny" Why are people gathering in a theatre to listen to this proven fool?
  7. Did you miss those words? How I responded is how a normal contractual situation works but I because don't memorise all the PL's stupid rule changes, I might have messed up. However. The most instructive thing here is that I clearly could have told you FUCKING ANYTHING and you would have believed it. So THAT'S INTERESTING.
  8. Nice one. Get anyone sacked?
  9. This feels like when I see someone going to the cinema by themself. I don't know for certain that I should feel sorry for them, but I can't help it.
  10. There's an extended cut where he's revealed to be the train driver.
  11. I wouldn't necessarily have argued this in the past btw, but I'm bored of us haggling endlessly over targets. I'm sure Howe is too.
  12. A simple I WON'T FUCKING BOTHER NEXT TIME will suffice next time.
  13. I don't really give a fuck what anyone's valuation is other than the selling club's. If he's our target, and that's how much it will take to get him, then I want us to pay that amount cos it isn't my money.
  14. They'll have a book value at the point that the extension is negotiated. That book value should be amortised across the remaining (extended) contract length. That's how I assume it will work. So, buy a player for £100m on a 5 year deal, that's a £20m amortisation charge per year. If at the end of 2 years, you extend their contract by 2 years, you have: Book value: £60m (£100m minus 2 x £20m annual amortisation charge) Newly extended contract length: 5 years (original 3 plus 2 year extension) New annual amortisation charge: £12m per year for the next 5 years.
  15. If they want £65m, we should offer them the £65m or 60+5 or whatever, and be done with it. They know we've got the cash, and we know how much they want. Parrish is a self-publicising wanker who will absolutely love the TV and radio exposure he can milk out of this. There's two ways to shut him up - give him what they want, or announce that the deal is off, but the latter leaves us missing out on our target for £5m.
  16. Honestly think the decision to give him his own thread has impacted negotiations. I think Parrish has found out and thinks that we think he's a cockney mug who'll just do what we like.
  17. Watched the new A Quiet Place: Day One the other night. A decidedly average 6.0.
  18. One of the American papers has likened his performance to that of a "drunk Daffy Duck"
  19. Aye Civil War was decent enough. Not exactly feelgood viewing mind.
  20. Kev "Clickbait" Lawson. A sad decline.
  21. A remake of an absolute parpfest though. It doesn't count as a remake if the original was shit.
  22. The Guardian ran an article on him recently cos his channel has got so huge that he's now interviewing musical greats on there. I think Joni Mitchell saw him break down one of her songs and got in touch with him about it.
  23. You should follow my main man Rick Beato on YouTube. It's actually a really good channel - he's a former musician/producer who does great breakdowns of famous songs using the original stems to look at different parts of songs, etc. He produces very good guitar/general music instruction stuff. And every once in a while he allows himself to be horrified by the Spotify Top 10 and records it.
