RESIGNATION INCOMING!

KCG getting genuinely concerned here. A lot hanging on this response

I can barely keep my eyes open after about 8pm most nights. Today is just a day when I hope to capitalise on that. I was up at 4:45 this morning, went for a 7k run, then immediately took the dog out for a walk. 12k steps by 7am, so I'm hoping I'll be extra goosed by 8pm and can just drop into standby mode for a couple of hours.
-
My plans for tonight are to try and sleep from 8 to just before exit poll. Then back to kip until about midnight, and stop up from then onwards. I'm off tomorrow so I'll just doze throughout the day.

I saw the Black Crowes! But no Jimmy Page. They were doing their own stuff, and I didn't know fucking any of it. Drove from San Francisco - a 700 mile round trip to miss the band I was intending to see.

Sounds good. I'm always nervous with these profiles, especially when they're being written because (at the time) he was thought of as possibly going to Man United - I read profiles suggesting Ten Hag was a genius when he was headed there. But it all sounds very positive. Interesting that he was responsible for Trippier to Spurs. He's certainly spotted some real talent down the years.

That post was an intelligence test, and so far you're the only one to have passed.

There's been a lot of chat about turnout, and a lot of OMG only x% of 18 to 34 year olds even plan to vote....again trying to make out how much of a turnoff Starmer is. Every time I've seen it posted, one of the polling meganerds has replied "well that would be the highest proportion of that age group since X". The one thing I've seen is a comparison of people saying they were 10/10 to vote vs actual turnout, compared back over the last 6 or 7 elections, and the 10/10 figure for this election would suggest a slightly lower turnout this time around. We'll see though.

This is a week or so old, but it reckons Labour could hit the magical 326 at around 4 to 4:30am.

First "big name" result is Richard Holden at Billericay, which I think is due around half past midnight.
-
Around midnight. Possibly a bit before. Although I'm sure I read somewhere that council cuts have meant that the Sunderland and Newcastle speed-counts are not likely to be as speedy this time around.

The Yorkshire Tourist Board has spoken.

Apparently Tory internal polling shows them confident of holding 80 seats with another 60 in play. So if that's to be believed, they think their absolute ceiling is 140 seats. The final MRPs were all coalescing around 110 to 120ish yesterday.

The meltdown on the right is underway.

The kid in the video barely speaks English. At one point he delivers a line so killer that he puts it up on screen to: "His talent ID at multiple clubs have proven itself" Reminds me of good old George W Bush: "The question we have to ask ourselves is: Is our children learning?"
-
It almost sounds like an inducement to vote Farage. "Get them" could be interpreted as "I'm gonna fucking GET you!". Would be canny if the Mail has just sent all of its robots out to accidentally end the Tories.

Red bingo dobber on each of their foreheads as the night plays out hopefully.
