Has anyone watched Outlast on Netflix. A bunch of "survival specialists" dropped into the Alaska wilderness, with $1m for the last one standing. I fucking HATE camping but I reckon I could have stuck it out for longer than some of the first ones to go. And these are meant to be little mini Rambos. One of them even calls himself Rambo.

In the sense that she did a completely unnecessary trick when no one was anywhere near her, it was VERY ASMesque. That is footballing bollocks.

To be clear, I'm not suggesting for a second that we're too big for Howe. He has been instrumental in the "professionalisation" of the club in its current form. But we're not even halfway along the journey to being a properly big club, and he's probably going to have to loosen his grip on all sorts of things along that path. It'll be beneficial in the long run, hopefully, but it'll be jarring when it happens, which is probably what we're currently seeing.

There's definitely something in the idea that Howe probably needs to adjust to how a big club operates. As do the rest of us. When you look at the size of the staff at Man City, drop Howe into that situation and he'd be feeling the same or worse than he is now, but they're the ones that are doing it right.
