  1. With your balance, I think that's wise.
  2. The bloke is plainly a cunt. More fool them for having the wool pulled over their eyes by his everyman act.
  3. Sam Coates with the big breaking news that Taylor Swift got special protection from the Met while in London AND Yvette Cooper got 2 free tickets to see Taylor Swift. The breathless way he reports that he can "exclusively reveal" ffs. Starmer's biographer Tom Baldwin had it right when he said he was a bit sick of journalists that have read the members register of interests and think it makes them the new Woodward and Bernstein.
  4. I'll be your hype man. Full kilt and bagpipes. MC Jockanese.
  5. CT can probably arrange for you to settle this via rap battle on the stage at Wonder Bar?
  6. The party membership will be absolute tearing the head off it. It's basically a "how badly would you like to lose the next election" vote now, not that they'll see it that way.
  7. Some of Tugendhat's vote broke to Badenoch. A couple of them have tweeted today to say they were voting for her now Tommy Tit was out.
  8. They've definitely fucked it, by the sound of things. Voting for their second preference because they thought Cleverly was certain to make final two. You know what you do to make sure he's certain to make the final two? Not that.
  9. They need to gather outside of PL HQ with sparklers.
  10. Whereabouts in the range do you normally go for with a car purchase?
  11. To me, the main thing that matters is that they won on the rules being unlawful. They're unlawful because they exclude shareholder loans. And it's unlikely that they're just going to say "oh well we'll include them then", because of the impact it would have. So it's back to the drawing board on the APT rules. The PL won on stuff like City saying that the rules were set up to discriminate against gulf state owners, etc. Well done lads, but your rules are still for shit, and you'll need some new ones.
  12. Whenever I'm doing owt like this, I sign up for the free trial at Which and pick one of their Best Buys. Might be worth a look on there if you haven't already.
  13. He's talking about you two as some sort of partnership arrangement. If he goes down, he takes you with him, unless you wish to publicly disavow "The King".
  14. They even gave evidence on behalf of Man City. A case that called out the fact that not including shareholder loans (of which they have more than anyone at £450m) was unlawful, and they turned up to support it.
  15. We know that, but he's gonna get the equivalent of being carried around on a sedan chair for the next 4 years by the majority of the press in this country. Treated like the man who would be king.
  16. If you assume most of Tommy Tit's lot break to Cleverly, he might have enough votes to decide who he'd rather face in the final two. Which, given Jenrick's shit showing at their conference and Badenoch's popularity with the membership, you'd pick him, and lend some of your votes to get him over the line.
  17. I think it's this lad. He's got his own Fender signature model if so.
  18. Aye mine is absolutely spot on, whatever I watch on it. There are so many different picture profiles to pick from (and obvs you can create your own) though, some of which are dark, but I just don't use those ones. I'm not using ones that are super garish and bright either - you can basically set it however you want, from eyeball meltingly bright to barely see what's going on dark. Just pick one of the standard profiles though, and you'll be fine.
  19. @Christmas Tree I've got an LG OLED 48 incher. No issues with burn-in. If you're not watching it for a short period, the screen goes black anyway with a white text screen saver thing. So you'd have to really try to get an image burnt in to it. If you want specific model, let me know. It's class like. It's the 2021 version so might have a slightly different name now.
