  1. Have to elect GTFO, I’m afraid. The bar doesn’t look kindly on people who take creep shots. You’ll just have to imagine the sea of mamacitas currently in my field of vision.
  2. This is a sad state of affairs if that is what passes for ass on your side of the pond. I’m at a subway station in the Bronx right now and I could point this phone in a random direction and find someone more shapely than that.
  3. Is that the designated Cool and Correct People VIP Area, like?
  4. I hesitate to say this but I don't think it was a handball, and it certainly wasn't a slam dunk. Had he controlled the ball with that part of his body in open play, it wouldn't have been given as handball. If we'd scored that and it was disallowed, I'd be furious. We got away with it.
  5. Awful game, lucky to escape with a point. Burn and Joelinton's idiotic decisions to needlessly foul the keeper almost cost us very, very dearly.
  6. 7 pages of absolute blather and another day no closer to an incoming transfer.
  7. Let's chuck a bid in for this Lacroix bloke. It'd be counterproductive but Palace should see they aren't the only ones who can play silly buggers.
  8. Here’s the 4-1-1. If you’re going to be in the zone, you need your goddamn guys to step up to the plate, and if they can’t do it, they’re going to be riding pine. Capisce?
  9. Mind, it's a good thing that Southampton are utterly shit. The amount of no-namers they brought on stretched credulity by the end. I wasn't sure if Amo-Ameyaw and Dibling were real people or FM regens. Smallbone the budget Slenderman/Shelvey hybrid can do one too, the oddly-proportioned weirdo.
  10. VAR taking the day off apparently. No need to review that handball, just blow the whistle and usher everyone down the tunnel so we don't need to dwell on what an embarrassment that half was.
  11. Schar is an idiot and at fault for that. But the other neanderthal should be off as well, a yellow for the fucking flagrant foul after the whistle had gone and a yellow for what was absolutely clearly simulation.
  12. I'm erring on the side of caution but I'm not sure these predictions of 9th are that far wide of the mark. We haven't strengthened at all. We're an injury to Isak or Gordon away from toothlessness. Considering the short shrift we got off VAR last season, we're not going to be able to count on the free points that Man U or Chelsea can expect, and who knows what condition Tonali is going to come back in.
  13. That froot loop would've been Trump's biggest fan. He attracts plenty of pseudo-intellectuals who have absolutely no substance in their real lives but are happy to spout off endlessly about cranium size and crime rates and natural-born citizens on the interwebs.
  14. Anyone know how she runs so fast with that tremendous arse dragging her back? There should be a scientific study done. Fuck me like.
  15. Isn’t that exactly what he’s done with Vance? And how many more crazies are there out there that aren’t already voting for him?
  16. Party politics are wholly separate from the Constitution, which makes no mention of parties because they didn’t exist at the time and Washington argued that parties would only divide the country. There’ll be some deadline set by each individual state (because the Constitution delegates elections to the states) as to who’s going to appear on the ballots there, and as long as those requirements are met, the parties could chop and change their nominees every day if they wanted to. Earlier there was a question about VPs that I can answer - if the VP assumes the presidency for a period of two years or less, it doesn’t count as a term for term limits purposes, but if it’s more than 2 years, it does. If Biden resigned today, Harris would be considered to be merely serving out his term, not one of her own, so she could still run for the full 8 years.
  17. This is an act of strength, not weakness, and may well yet save the Union. It cannot be easy to admit you're too old, but there's no shame in knowing when you're beat and the stakes are too high for foolish pride to take a hand. So well done, Joe Biden. Beshear, Cooper or Shapiro are all good choices, all coming from either red or toss-up states. Newsom is not a winner as VP, he brings nothing new to the table, though he's a good candidate for future elections. Whitmer is also a great pick though I'm not sure about the optics of a double woman ticket. Either way the race has been completely upended and the easy sleepwalk to victory that Trump was banking on is out the window. Now the watchword has to be unity. This isn't the time for someone to try to be a hero - the whole party needs to coalesce instantly around Harris and her VP and move in absolute lockstep.
  18. Foden was absolutely horrendous bar 30 minutes against the Dutch. All tournament long. Pure shite. Wretched showing, no excuse. Bellingham wasn't much better. Flashes of quality but largely anonymous. Kane was fucking dogshit for the entire tournament. Neville was running his idiotic mouth before the game about how Kane is England's greatest ever player. If that's the case no wonder we never fucking win anything as he is DOGSHIT. He's been a nothing player for years, but this was the first time he really went into past-it territory. But why take it from me today? You could always go back to this post from March '23 and see how many of you were lining up to sing his praises - a year later he is UTTERLY FINISHED and I don't give a fuck how many goals were put on a platter for him at Bayern. If any of you watched that "performance" today and thought there's still life in this guy as an international player you're living in delusion. Le Normand and Laporte could've fucked off for a kebab and would've been back before he even made it into the box. And that is the essence of Southgate as a manager - he's a safety-first coward who only makes changes when he's forced into them and has no tactical nous whatsoever. The only times we've looked good in this tournament is when we've been behind and therefore have of necessity had to cast off his desperately defensive instructions and try to make something happen. He needs to resign. I realise that's harsh on someone who has led us to two major finals and a major semi-final, but the evidence is plain to see. He is holding this team back. We can progress no further. If we ever want to win anything we won't do it with him. Player of the tournament for me was Saka. Guehi would be runner-up. Mainoo also came into his own during this tournament. I think the likes of Watkins, Toney, Bowen, Eze, Gordon and Palmer can all be astonished at their lack of game time especially as not one of them put a foot wrong when called upon.
  19. But he's such a hero man! He's such a fighter! Didn't you see him taking a bullet for MURICA?????
  20. On the plus side, his ludicrous bald bonce was exposed.
  21. So a 2010s transfer fee in Mike Ashley pounds, then. (Gouffran cost 4m if I’m remembering correctly?)
